Escape from Monster Manor (3DO 1993)

Escape from Monster Manor (subtitled 'A Terrifying Hunt For the Undead'), by Leo Schwab, was a launch title for Panasonic's 3DO Interactive Multiplayer released in October 1993 (in the US).
It was a Wolfenstein 3D inspired first-person shooter set in a haunted house (the imaginatively named "Monster Manor") where the player must collect pieces of a talisman in order to defeat the hordes of undead. Although its horror aspect is quite tongue-in-cheek, some of the visuals and sound effects are genuinely disturbing.
As it was exclusive to the 3DO it reached a limited audience, and was somewhat overshadowed by the release of DOOM two months later.
