That’s a really good comparison video. I feel the Forrest River is all thriller and no filler. It’s a unit to get you out there and get you camping. The Grand Design is the top tier option that would be suited for more of a full time lifestyle and is built to be more comfortable for more extended camping.
You hit the nail on the head! The Forest River brand does a great job inside the garage area of their rigs and the living space is definitely better than RV’s of 2015 and earlier. The Grand Design just packs a punch and to your point, livable year round comfortably... the second punch is going to hit you in your wallet though 😆
I went the Forrest River route. Bought a 365 PACK16 earlier this year. I really like it a lot but we has some difficulty with the 12 volt frig. All squared away now. Great garage space. For the price, the 365 seems to be a great deal in terms of comfort and quality. Absolutely no regrets. We have the half bath in the garage and the wall situation is very cool!!
I love the Forest River and for the price, it’s what I would buy too lol! My furnace had issues along with a couple of other things but that’s pretty normal with RV’s. I remember KYD had issues with their Grand Design fridge awhile back 👍🏾
@@JB_WhoWork The issue seemed to center on the Furrion 12 volt. We had 2 bad ones. Once the dealer put a General Electric model in, it has run flawlessly. Apparently there has been widespread Furrion 12 volt issues. Otherwise, the quality issues have been no different than any other rv, loose screws, trim loose. Those everyday issues.
Great video JB, I've been looking at Toy Haulers but i still don't know what I'm going to do. The Momentum 351M was the one was was looking at with an MSRP of $104k. I'm told we should be able to get at least 30% to 35% off and realistically pay someone around 75k to $78k if we wanted that unit. Love the reviews and stay warm up there.
@@JB_WhoWork Best thing you can do is buy used. There are a lot of people that got into RV last year that are seeing there units this winter. Keep up the good work.
Good job! You’ve hit some points others miss when comparing budget and higher quality models. I’d be curious to know what prices these would actually sell for.
Ha there has been a lot of people asking about that model but I have mixed feelings on it. I’m going to ask Justin Shanholtzer when they plan on getting another so we can review it 👍🏾
Excellent excellent excellent as always JB! Love this channel. Now, is there anyway you can review a Grand Design Momentum 29GO? It’s a new toy hauler TT where the garage is actually open (not enclosed). It looks awesome.
Thank you soo much for the comment! Btw I love your thumbnail 😂! I think Justin Shanholtzer carries that model so when he gets one, we will tackle a review!
@@JB_WhoWork hey JB I just bought a momentum 29g toy hauler 2 months ago have not used it yet but its perfect we was going to get the 5th wheel but my 2500hd with airbags did not have the payload so we got the travel trailer with the same luxury
Great content as usual Boss man I need a favor When you get a chance Is there anyway you can review a ATC 28 ft toy hauler I want to buy one in the next two months Thanks
Shopping around. Price forest River is a great price. RV nation deal with Nathen he’s easy and knowledgeable. GD is definitely a higher quality. You walk in and you feel it. The difference is small but you see it on the outside, added outside features and the inside quality. Is it worth the difference in price??? My logic is if you never rv’d and don’t know if it will stick go FR. If you know you will us the RV a lot go GD. Just my two cents.
@@JB_WhoWork I agree, I’m still wondering if there’s going to be a new transmission for the Cummins as well. I honestly thought the full redesign would be next year, but I guess there in no hurry
I knew RAM wasn’t going to redesign right after this model came out for 2019. I do believe the pandemic had something to do with it too but RAM and Ford are probably going to release around the same time 👍🏾
So, for me, you guys do too much joking around and turning the camera on yourselves. Video could've been way shorter. This is not a slam, just a suggestion. Too much camera swinging back and forth. Maybe just have one guy talk.

Thanks Sam! I will do a follow up with Justin as he pretty much has access to that but we ran out of time the day we got the footage. Thanks again 👍🏾
Fit and no comparison tho but the Boost isn’t as bad as you think. They’re generally pretty simple which isn’t necessarily a bad thing.
