Nice to see again. I used to take it from Whitehorse to Skagway with my buddies back in the 1970.'s when it ran all the way. There were only maybe 5 cars in those days and maybe one or maximum two diesels which I see look to be the same ones still. It used to stop at Bennett Lake for lunch since the journey was so long back then. The cars had wooden chairs that you could move around and when we got to Deadhorse Pass all the tourists would rush to the side to look over the edge while us locals went to the other side to try to balance the weight. Thanks for the memories.
I really enjoyed this video. I thought I knew the line very well having done the trip many times, but there are so many changes along the way that I just have to go up there again next summer.
Thanks for posting this! They were talking about putting this in the last time I rode this in 2015 but this is the first I’ve seen on what it actually looks like. I’m sure these are parts of the improvements since they were bought out by parent company Carnival Cruise Lines

Glad to provide them to you! I hope to go back one day to cover their steam operations
It melts my heart when people from other White Pass trains waving at each other. ❤
A great addition to your other video. Loved the old cantilevered bridge. It seems they added some longer sidings since 2012. Thanks for posting.
Beautiful scenery, thanks for posting the video, I hope to get up there later this summer to hike the Chilkoot Trail and ride this train while there.
