It’s insane when a group like XG comes along and every member can do it all. Sing, dance, rap AND they are all beautiful and have crazy charisma. They are the future.

@@Pinwheel622 if that were the case everyone will be successful. The individuals already have the talent, you are trained to be better and improve on what you have. Charisma comes natural most times. Even in corporate jobs and most areas of life people go for training to improve their skills for what they are interested in, are they 'manufacturing perfection'. Kpop has its downsides but generally they train to try out people before investing, as pop is more performance. US music industry had their own training method in the past too but now artist/management who are interested in being better mostly handle their own training

It's not the artists that are the issue, it's the weird kpop fandom and the way they perceive these idols. as if their roles aren't simply marketing and are actually based on their interests on personalities.

XG is a multi talented group. They're real musician and a performer, they never disappoints. They always gave us more and many surprises. They're like soloist in one group, I mean they can be potentially and can be a singer as a soloist. Their genre shows how diverse they are in terms of music, style, concept and everything.
I hope the world will discover them as early as possible. Their talent need to be recognized in the universe, I mean seriously.

I’m so amazed on the fact that only Maya is fluent in English but their pronunciations are so on point. I can clearly understand what they are singing and the amazing part is that most of the international singers don’t have clear pronunciations when singing. Sometimes I have to google the lyrics, but with XG I don’t need to even read the subtitles. They are sooo good I sooooo love them uuughhh

Would make sense why though. English is used in japan often or so I have heard. Due to their technical advances and international trading. And structurally the syllables and inflections are similar in most English worlds.
@@SBSlim93 No it isnt. Most Japanese natives will not be able to speak english even at a basic level. I think XG are just very well trained because you can hear accent on certain words but in general its in american accent.
Maya is the only member fluent in English. She attended an International Catholic school where English was standard. Many of the students were children of US military. That's why she speaks American English. Harvey is Hafu, Aussie/Japanese, and like the rest of the members only spoke limited English. They have greatly improved their English and Korean since they began training in Korea.

Their sound is so old school but fresh. They are clearly taking aim at the US. They are not for play. Hip hop/r&b vibes that's happy and upbeat with a touch of cocky swag.
They hooked me. Never thought I would be into a group like this at my age but I just love these girls. ✌🏾
Lance....this song was literally written by a bunch of Black Americans. Of course, it has our sound. The lyrics were literally taken out of our AAVE dictionary. At first, I was confused because these are Japanese girls, not American so there is no way they say any of these phrases in their culture...that's us. But when I found out who actually wrote the lyrics it all made sense.
I would rather them be a little more authentic rather than just emulative of our culture. BUT there is so much room for growth and I'm excited for them. I hope they go far.
I agree. I think they're eventually hitting the US market and could just be using Korea or Japan to jumpstart. I like this song and it felt like it has that pop/R&B vibe from those songs in the early 2000s. They have a huge potential.

XG is the coolest group ever. They made me stop in my tracks and stan exclusively them and no one else. My wallet is saved and I don't have to worry about the anxiety of following multiple groups who's schedules I can't keep up with (literally impossible). ALPHAZ are one of the most welcoming and respectful fanclubs ever. I have never seen such hospitality and love from a community before. It really feels like a big family.

I love the whole vocal line so much. Chisa, Hinata, and Juria. They all compliment each other so well. Hinata has this soft voice,Juria has the super satisfying raspyness, and Chisa has the most clear voice of them all.
I love the nostalgic vibe they bring. It’s why I love BM because they have that late 90s/2000s sound in some of their music. I love that. They quickly shot up to the top of my playlist.
This comeback is incredible and they are all shining but there is something about Chisa! She’s shining bright this comeback. The line distribution is fair, the songs are amazing, choreos are breath taking, the rap line (Jurin, Cocona, Maya and Harvey) slayed and the vocal line (Chisa, Juria, Hinata) had beautiful harmonies.

I think it's cool how chill and vocal-friendly the choreo has been for both Shooting Star and Left Right. So many girl groups wanna stunt so bad that choreographers forget it's not just about the dance. Really nice R&B/breakdance vibe too, it's like my 5th time watching LOL
It probably helps that Jurin also has to perform it as well. She knows how to pace when she's coming up with it.
It's not really a choreographer's decision. I remember YG and JYP played a role on how the choreos would turn out. I think in XG's case they wanted to showcase their vocal and rap while being THE swaggy group so a chill routine would do, they don't really need to go hard because there's no area to compensate, they are good overall.
Also no offense to anyone else but the xg girls don’t need to hide behind extreme choreo to make up for vocal talent. Their voices/raps are their greatest skill imo

As someone who grew up in late 90s-early00s, i'm feelin heavy nostalgia from these recent releases, especially this one. They definitely improved a lot at this point, which is scary, because they were already really good before. And to think they're just gonna be better from this point onward. Never been so glad to stan a group before.
