I loved seeing your fabrics and I am pretty sure there is no judgment coming from your viewers who probably have just as much or more themselves (who, me?😂). I especially liked seeing your colours and patterns which are so different to my own choices as I have dark autumn colouring and a fabric stash to match! Yes please to top 20 patterns if not too much work, it’s always interesting to see what other people have found fun to sew x

LOVED this video Paige - so many gorgeous fabrics. I have the rainbow check seersucker too but have no idea what to make either! Really want to sew it up though as it's GORGEOUS! x

It's common knowledge that collecting fabrics and collecting sewing patterns are hobbies in of themselves. 😂

No judgement from me!! Lovely collection! In my stash the fabrics that are 3 years old are considered new 😅 I have fabrics from when I first started sewing at 9 years old… 😭 20 years, wow 🤪 I need to start making things from fabrics already in the stash instead of buying new… oh well! Fabric collecting is a different hobby to sewing clearly 😜

The Skye dress would look lovely in the cobalt blue fruity viscose Paige 😊 I think the rainbow check is seersucker 😊 I have fabric waiting for the right pattern and patterns waiting for the right fabric, so no judgement here, they will pick each other when the time is right 😂 also if a fabric is not in your colour pallet but you love it, then wear it away from your face either as bottoms or with a contrasting colour band directly by your face 😊

@@paigejoannaa I recently made Butterick B6385 and am currently working on a second for my Mam. I have also made the Friday Pattern Co Cambria Duster but maybe your fabric might be too heavy for that. I love making coats, so I'm sure whatever you come up with will be fab!

I took the decision 2 years ago to catalogue all my fabric. Took hours and hours to measure my then existing stash (length x width, fabric composition, price per metre, date purchased and from where). A small swatch of the fabric is also attached to the page. There is also a section for date used, pattern number, size cut and a note of any alterations. All of this stored in lever arch files. When I use a fabric that piece of paper is transferred to another file - completed projects. I don’t have to trawl through stacks of fabric to choose/find an item. I go to my lever arch files and choose. My piece of paper also tells me where the fabric is located…. New purchases are added as I buy. Needless to say, my fabric stash is enormous…. And I tell myself not to buy any more….

I'm currently making a new look 6507, so a top with a flounce, with a fabric similar to your check one. It's slightly see through so I'm relying on the long flounce to cover my chest area

Such beautiful fabrics. My stash must be worth about £2k, which in reality contradicts the reason why I took up a hobby ---- to actually sew.
