Girl I absolutely feel you on the dating question. My dad asked me that once - "is the relationship perfect or are you making it perfect?" I think the key might be to focus on whether you actually like the dude and not on whether he likes you. I've fallen into that trap. Like would you hang out with him as friends? Do you feel safe to be yourself? Does he seem trustworthy? Obviously it takes more than one date to figure these things out, but I think you know by the 3rd date if you want to continue seeing each other
I know it sounds cliche but when you instantly feel a connection, comfortable, and the conversation just flows naturally. This is coming from someone who is naturally more reserved and find it difficult making conversation with new people! :) xx

Laser hair removal is AMAZING so worth it but most people do have to do it forever (if you are naturally hairy) e.g. you’ll have to do it a few times a year as the hair does start to grow back otherwise. There is a lot of miss information online, so many influencers say it doesn’t hurt but it really does, they increase the settings as you go so the pain gets worse but it is quick and like I said 100% worth it 🥰
You can never be sure you’re not wasting your time! We’d all avoid a lot of hassle if we could, it’s just a risk you have to be willing to take, I think the best thing you can be is open minded, don’t be strict on those lists every girl’s had and limit your selection, and if your morals line up, they have key traits like funny, respectful, kind, and you’re attracted to them and wanna spend all your time with them, then that’s usually the sign of a promising potential relationship ☺️ (speaking from experience 😆), and now in my healthiest happiest relationship with my person 😊

If youre not too excited to see them again, then you just had fun because youre a fun person , imo :)

Be wary of the “love at first sight” idea; chemistry is of course good, but what you want is someone who you just live to spend time with! My experience of a good date (Married for 18 years now) if you don't run out of conversation content, but it has to flow naturally, and y'all could literally chat for hours! You know if this is headed somewhere if you both don't want this date to end. You will feel this.
Another good sign is if you make each other laugh genuinely. There has to be a level of respect if that isn't there already it will never happen trust me.

As a girlie who takes a long time to warm up to people romantically, the biggest thing I would say is don't put any expectation on the first date feeling like an exceptionally good one. Sometimes it just takes longer to feel it with the person. But also if you find yourself not wanting the night to end and just go home feeling like you can't wait to talk to them again...that's the sign for me.

You might benefit from learning in more detail about attachment theory. I have a fearful avoidant attachment style and hearing people say ‘when you know you know’ was not helpful for me, as our attachment style is characterised by having a lot of doubts / fear of commitment- but in reality this is a defense mechanism to prevent getting close and getting hurt. So it is different for everyone. Also learning over time the most important thing is aligned values and morals - everything else will most likely change over time anyway. For me I look for kindness, dependability, honesty, trustworthiness, some chemistry / attraction, a sense of playfulness and emotional maturity.I heard there’s been lots of research that proves kindness is the number indicator for a healthy long term relationship! Also remembering nobody is perfect and some fulfilment we can also get from friends. I.e shared interests. Im a psychology nerd but I hope this helps x

Rachel I’m doing laser hair removal and you should def do it! You’re missing out! I saw results after 1st treatment. So many good benefits. As a Hispanic we are hairy af but this works I’m doing my entire body and it def makes coarse hair thinner and slows the growth omg 1000%. I was the type to shave everyday because that’s how fast my hair grew. Now, I shave like once every 2 weeks and that’s on treatment #4 I still have 2 more. Also, never really had ingrowns but this overall makes everything look sooo smooth and bump free which is another huge plus. No black dots, ingrowns, bumps, irritation, acne. Def worth it ❤🫶🏽💯👌🏽

Rach this is going to sound mad but as a bubbly, confident person for me I know a date has gone well when I feel like I really want to impress the other person, or like I'm not just having a normal conversation where you're trying to get to know someone. It's cliche but you'll just know- it'll feel different and you won't walk away from it just thinking 'oh I had a nice time', it'll be like 'oh I hope they liked me because they were so interesting/funny/whatever'.
Yeah you generally just know. Spend all your time with them. Constantly texting. Arranging future things.
