🎧 When I first discovered podcasts I had to work out what kind of work I could do with half my brain distracted. Writing documents needed a whole bunch more concentration than I had anticipated. In the years since then I have never moved on from 1x speed. However, the one time I’ve tried an audio book I had to keep ⏪️ if my focus wavered, and I struggled to know who was who despite the narrator using distinct voices. It was like I needed a different skill level.
I imagine the narrator had to figure this book out ahead of the recording!
