Lebanon is a country plagued by politicians who have taken it upon themselves to destroy this beautiful country most of us are forced to be our minds blocked

Can the timestamps be in Arabic as well please??
Sarde got beyond a concept and beyond a proof of this concept, you were talking about how 20 year olds would feel about those days, As a 17 year old, sarde became one of my breathers, you guys reflect alot of ideas we think, So thanks for just doing it
You should do these once-twice a year, like an inventory check to recap and reflect on a year's worth of events (or more). Specifically, the Sarde aired in Dec 2020 with just the two of you was powerful.
That means a lot Franco. Thank you ♥
I love those episodes a lot. At least once a month. Twice a year is not enough.
i ve watched as many as i could of your Sardes but this one is beyond the concept of podcast ... you know i am Tunisian and i can enormously relate to the political and economical crises ..thank you
Best sarde to date. Felt authentic and raw.
When Medea said "There's no more spontaneity anymore" it hit home! I'm only 21 years old, but i still remember the days when i was 16,17 and 18. I remember once, i was hanging out with some friends, when we randomly decided to go on a 4 hour long trip to Baalbek. It sucks knowing that today those kind of decisions are almost impossible to make without taking into consideration food and gas money or even the risk of getting f*cking robbed or kidnapped on the road.
Its best emotional touchy episode, we get to know your inner world guys, Respect and Love..
And from today I will start using the quote sadly happy
i’m 20 and everything you’ve said touched me to the core… i’m tearing up
It was hard to talk about ♥️
It was beautiful to thank your patrons ,we Appreciate all the work that your tryna do it

Vote up to make them do it..
As a 20 years old woman, i never felt this much of deepness, and how accurately i related to this sarde. Keep up the good work Médéa and Mouin ❤️✨
♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
I've watched a fairly good amount of your episodes but this has to be the best one yet. The topics you both talked about and the things you said resonate with each one of us today
This episode made me happily sad... It's always comforting to know that a lot of people are feeling the same way you are. Thank you so much for shedding light on this matter and for expressing yourselves the way you both did.
We sometimes find ourselves at a loss for words when we try to explain how we're feeling about everything that's happened and you both just summed it up beautifully. Thank you for being vulnerable, honest and emotional. ❤
♥️ miss you Joey
Dear Sarde family, despite of the cold weather (-35c), the "Freedom Convoy 2022" around Canada these days, yet we feel "Nostalgia" the golden Lebanon 🇱🇧 and the patriotic Lebanese citizens. From the Lebanese-Canadian patriots we salute you.
Your are not a patriot. Patriots do not cause their fellow citizens misery so they can protest. Use your ballot to make change at election time. The leaders/organizers of this Freedom protest are anarchists with a political agenda, not civil protesters. Do not admire them. The "official" leaders provided their written demands requiring our prime minister resign, and immediately and drop all Covid mandates. They are causing economic and daily misery in Ottawa and cities with international border crossings. Now they are protesting at schools. Ridiculous! Is it only their freedom that matters, no matter how much misery they cause. Don't be fooled, my friend. You can hate the Covid restrictions, we all do, but they are meant to protect all of us and especially the unvaccinated 'freedom protesters". Listen to medical professionals not internet experts. Thank you.
Sarde family, both of you are full of hope, and you provide hope to the world. Thank you Medea and Mouin. Keep safe and be well.
Thank you ♥️♥️♥️
This has to be the best sarde of all times !
Thanks for saying out loud the things we're too afraid to tell ourselves

Watching and listening to you two is such a treat, so relaxing. The ending was so emotional 😍 Keep it up love you ✌🏻❤️❤️❤️
You guys are awesome thank you so much for sharing these intimate evenings and keeping memories alive for us that are expatriated
"I am sadly happy" hit me so hard. Thank you so much for this episode, it was such an emotinal roller caoster. one hour was enough for me to remember my life even though i am just 25. Hoping for all my lebanese people to hold on to the best image of Lebanon and never let it go. Much respect and love for everyone here.
I sooooo second!
Yay
We hope we all have better days ahead ♥️
Felt right at home with this episode
Dear Mouin, the best is still to come I am sure, I know how this country feels at the moment but i hope you never think again that the best is behind you. Love you both and what you both represent, never lose hope please, know we are so many watching you and supporting you.
Thank you so much for your support Alexandre ♥️ your words of encouragement mean a lot
love this show so much
Enjoyed this more intimate episode, it felt like chilling and chatting with friends, as if I were there with you. And love the lighting btw.
I'm an expat who left Lebanon in 1978 and never had the desire to return. If you knew the Beirut right before the war.. my very late teens, not a care in the world, big dreams, real friends, a fun life. The parties and outings then had none of the showing off, the gaudiness, and the superficiality that I saw when I visited in the late 1990's.
it's like a quarterly or midyear management review meeting "MRM", i was glad to listen to Medea's transparent yet realistic view(s), memories, correct me if i am wrong, i think you are a free spirit. Muin at your age there was nothing i wanted to do, i didn't do, the group rented an appartment in beirut, it was our safe space, our pleasures in life were different then the rest of our friends, it was a space with no inhibitions mixed genders/religions/etc,. this was the best time of my life till now, but, when i started travelling and discided to stay away from the lebanese social materilistic hypocracy(in my opinion this when the war dogs took this period to cement themselves in the lebanese politics) imagine it as if you woke up and found out that all was a dream and that we are sliding into a shit hole only GOD knows how we can get out of.
yes, i was touched by this serde "it should have been less formal sitting on a coach, the candle light and lighting was warm, sibce i felt both of you, i advise you to leave lebanon, keep the healthy memories of lebanon and trust wherever you decide to go live/work you'll make friends and you'll stay lebanese...
NB: remmember what Nadin Qoutaish said about this matter and how he is going bto raise his children in his sarde with you. what youv are doing with Sarde every week is great and yes you should be proud of what you are shedding light on. btw, the politicians should do for lebanon, don't let them depend on the ngo's / platforms i.e we, to make it better, they have used us and abused us like there is no word/term can descripe. AiR HUG GUYZ.
-I'M NOT GOING TO REREAD OR EDIT. LEAVING MY INPUT AS IS. ALL MY BEST
I teared up at the part where we are questioning at 30 if these were our best days !
Its soo true .. and i feel that our generation can relate to that ..
And its only get harder for the next generations to come..
But the other point where you talk about enjoying the simpler things in life .. ( roadtrips - sidewalks chats and a cup of tea- a cigarette 3ala el baher ma3 nescafee … ) make more sense today than going all out and partying !
I personally could afford that .. but in my head im like how can i do this and there is a big part of my people who can’t even pay to fuel up their car ..
a bit of sympathy i guess with a bit of there more to life than just partying and being around fake people ..
Being more genuine in times like these is rare
And i feel how genuine u guys are ..
We love and respect you. You guys are doing a great job. Let us know how we can support you further ❤️
Thanks for this Sarde guys 🥰😘
I love you guys from Morocco 🇲🇦 Keep going and always remember there is hope
I really like how you guys talk with a smoothing voice pace. Coz usually Lebanese are very loud. it's kind of relieving talk lol
Hahahah happy to hear that

Mouin, good luck, still I am sure that things will turn out fine for you
لازم تعملو حلقه عن slang اللبنانيه والعادات الغلط it will be an epic

حبيت ♥️ the comination between Mouin and Médéa
Episodes just keep getting better and better, two awesome down to earth hosts, that pretty much are trying to cope, live, and understand the sh-iitz of a life we are living, wether it be locals or expats,,
The struggle is real..

I am in love with medea officially
I second that!
@@nabilbouali743 me too! Medea is my sentimental bond to Lebanon.
Medea you are a great Person and i enjoy hearing and watching you. well done
Always great to watch you guys. I have an idea that helps answer lots of clouded questions regarding the million dollar question of staying/leaving. You guys should plan some episode interviewing fresh expats (1-5 years), have them answer those questions (pros and cons), especially some myths about some countries. No its not about money. Money is not the goal when you leave your country. It's about pursuing happiness, dignity and dreams. It's about climbing up Maslow's hierarchy of needs.
I love listening to you
I love when Medea says (sarde) With her French accent 😍
I listen to you from Saudi Arabia with my mind and heart
I liked before watching
Love your show, alway wait your episodes every week. Please could you use the UA-cam CC option instead of being built in video so people can turn it off if they want to.
Why it felt like the last episode of Sarde ?? 😪 not until you said "it will continue" guysssss you made it a drama by the end 😥 we loveee yoouuu ❤
i enjoy listening to you guys you are amazing
How sad i felt when he said ( i am only 30 and afraid that the best years of my life have already passed ) :'(

best podcast 🔥🔥🔥
this honestly made me tear up, as a 20 year old who has his entire life ahead of him. It made me think that is it really worth it to stay here and fight for this country ?
No it is not. Please don't fall this. This has been a multi generational mistake amongst many Lebanese. Leave when you can. Don't hesitate
I agree, leave whilst you can. You can always, always come back.
Before Sarde,I honestly used to not like Medea 😅now I love her so much..tbh I don't know any Lebanese (Frenchees) on a personal level and always felt like they always come off fake and weirdly {unlebaneasly}Fragile spoiled pricks that won't last a day outside of their communities and their well off lifestyle in Lebanon and Sarde kinda helped by shedding light onto a more genuine perspective of different Lebanese people from various classifications and areas u guys are awesome 👍
Khaaaaay
I don't relate at all to your problems, but I have my own I was really depressed today and watching both of you made me comfortable calm, and happy, I love you guys.
♥️ hope you get better Baraa
❤️❤️ loved it. Medea fashit khel2

Since i found this podcast ! I started to skipp joe rogan episodes! Love u guys
Sarde is better than joe rogan😅...rogan just goes on 45 minute rants about martial arts and elk meat
I have a lot of respect for you guys but I do have a suggestion. This episode painted a gloomy picture which the current situation in lebanon deserves, however there’s a lot of talent abroad (I’m in NY so I’ll speak on our community’s behalf) that has been doing a lot to promote lebanon, it’s people, talent, food, culture etc. Some of the brightest in tech, banking, hospitality etc in the US are Lebanese and they’re driving a lot of awareness across the nation here. Maybe you should consider hosting them, looking for potential synergies between what’s happening here and the homeland. People need to see talent, new ideas, ways to help support Lebanon’s economy from outside (other than repatriating money to families). There’s been a lot of political influencer talk on this show, which is great, but I do believe that having some successful non-social media related talent on will also go a long way.
Quite a motivational and an encouraging suggestion. Go for it Sarde.

I'm a big fan of this podcast from Sudan 🇸🇩 (but living in the UK). It's sad what's going on in Lebanon and we have the same issues in Sudan from power cuts to corruption, hyperinflation, wealth inequality, foreign interference and militias. It's a sad reality, but inshallah we can see some prosperity in the region in the future 🤷♂️🤲🏾....either way, keep up the good work Mouin & Medea👍👍
We love you from Lebanon. Thank you for your kind and encouraging words of support
I loved the intro of Medea's son, bhahaha

I loved this episode. Very touchy, so real. W have the same feelings, same fears, same old trauma (especially the blast on 4th August).
Im 31 years old, and i feel i dont belong to this country. It isnt the safe place i should belong to!
Unlike you Media, i didn’t have the chance to love the country, on the contrary, i have enough causes to hate it!
Khalliné sékté a7san 😂
ajmal sardè😍🍻
i love you guys
Mouin حتى hike صعبة...Cost of fuel..even the simple things are now costly!
I thought about that after I said it 🤦♀️

The bottom line is that we enjoy your company.
Nice
As a 30 year old expat, like many others, we didnt get to enjoy leb in its good times, and now neither will we do for another 10 years
