Don’t get me wrong, i LOVE Camila but i rather not watch it than having her play evelyn. I grew so attached to the book that I need every detail to be as its written. Clearly in the book Evelyn 1) has literally a huge breast (camila has any if it’s a good day) 2) Evelyn has no butt or hips (camila has sm that it could end world hunger), 3) evelyn has very thick eyebrows and while camila too, they are more thinner than described. Also, even if Camila has already experience in A movie, I strongly believe that this role will not fit to her. The book is heartbreaking and really sad (and talks about very controversial topics) and I think Camila does not have the capacity for it (not yet at least, if she decides to become an actress she would have to take a couple dramatic movies to be fit for this movie, Cinderella was a romcom from the start). I understand why they would want to put her as evelyn (the heritage and because of the facial structures/skin and fame) but let’s be honest right now. Anyone who read the book knows that Camila will not be a good fit. (Also, besides this, I honestly do not think that Cs PR will ever let her play a gay/bisexual character tbh). Melissa Barrera is a better option same as Ana de Armas (tho it’s missing the breast and skin) or Eiza Gonzalez.
That was my rant.
