I love Kars and Ultimate Kars, but more like the concept of Ultimate Life Form, peak of evolution. Theme fits so damn perfectly, the scene of Ultimate Kars being born. Man part 2 got better with every episode, to the final episode being really amazing. I was wondering what if other villains lacking power would be like with Stone Mask and Super Aja in it, mostly reference on DIO.
Why is no one talking about the concept of the ultimate lifeform enough? Like, no one here has talked about different concepts of the ultimate lifeform? If I were to think about what the ultimate lifeform would look like, it won't be a single immortal humanoid like Kars.
Apparently, the red stone of Aja was merely a power source for the mask to be able to pierce through a pillarman's skull fully. The mask uses accupuncture points to unlock people's potential. So, unless the mask was too weak and DIO didn't achieve his full vampiric potential, he wouldn't quite go beyond his current abilities.
This theme is menacing in another way. It does not show the threat Kars poses. It creates a view of Kars relishing in his divine power, finally able to feel the rays of sun warming his skin. It's a victory for him. He has achieved his goal of becoming the superior creature. Or, at least that's the vibe I get from the song, despite Kars being launched to colonize Mars.
When you’re so powerful as an antagonist; the Author literally has to create an entirely new power system so the rest of the story doesn’t feel arbitrary. Kars won the evolutionary arms race.
The thing sbout Kars as the Ultimate Lifeform is thst he could change and adapt himself to other lifeforms. With that in mind it's good that he never had a Stand because there's a chance his Stand would be changing too.

Sort of like top ten lists, I'd compile the best (IMO) video game boss themes I could find. It may be something I do down the road, combined into something of a Suite.
