@@GregGottfried I do actually have a question: What am I doing wrong? I created my Teespring account 3 weeks ago. I began researching my niche and started to create designs (all of them were complying with Teespring's design policy). I optimized the title + description, and researched keywords. I also informed myself on the community forum to test out several marketing tactics. After not getting one single sale after one week I decided to create more campaigns for different customer sectors. After creating and optimizing more than 35 product's they still AREN'T EVEN LISTED ON TEESPRING. So basically I can't even find my designs when searching for the exact title! Their support couldn't help me either. Any suggestions? Sorry 4 the length "" Have an awesome day!
Thanks for reaching out on this! First things first, it's all normal :) The reason the shirts are not showing up in the marketplace is because you have a new account and havent had sales yet, so Teespring hasn't assigned you a Trust Score. Once you have a few initial sales, your campaigns will start showing up in the marketplace. However, sometimes they show up within 72 hours even if you have a new account with no sales.. I recommend watching the video I made called "how to get your first sales on Teespring" and it will explain how to get those initial sales and start the snowball effect. I hope that answer helps and the video brings you value! Let me know if you have any questions at all along the way!

You are making me so eager to dive into Affiliate marketing but my goal is 300 shirts in 3 different niches first and then affiliate marketing. I want to apply focus and organization and planning in all things...so easy to get shiny object syndrome and never do any one one thing right. You are being such a great mentor even though you may not know it and I am so grateful. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Thanks Greg, very helpful as always. I've got one question: If I have a website (domain) and I want to create several niche affiliate sites, can I use subdomains of my website, just to save the money for buying new domains? Does the URL matter in any way?
Hey Greg, do you have any videos on how to pick a niche? Or what niches work and which don’t? Or whether a niche is too broad and needs to be narrowed down to something more specific.
Great question! Yes, the beginning of this video will explain how I do it ua-cam.com/video/2FtzvcxFVRw/v-deo.html . More recently, I've been going with niches that I am passionate about and they have been working just as well as those that I've heavily researched. Having passion for the niche makes it easier to write all the articles. I hope that helps!
Hello. Thank you for YET ANOTHER fabulous video! I have now watched several of your videos, and I find every single one of them to be superbly educational. That said, regarding this particular video, I have two questions: 1) How long (i.e., average word count and time needed to read) do you recommend that a blogpost be, particularly to ensure that it provides the reader with high quality content but is also optimal for affiliate sales. 2) What , if anything, would you consider to to be TOO long? I do not ask this second question to avoid work, not in the least. Rather, it occurred to me that a blogpost with an eye toward affiliate sales might be considered to be too long at some point, perhaps because it becomes cumbersome for the reader, thereby discouraging the reader from clicking on the affiliate link(s), decreasing sales in the process. Can i use multiple affiliate links from different companies on my blog ? for example for can i have links from walmart, home-depot and amazon if my niche is about best coffee machine on the same page?
Hi Greg, I've got questions (as per usual) A. What happens if you exceed the 30 tag on IG? B. Do you think that using all 30 tags on teespring might be counter-productive? I read somewhere that over-optimizing keywords might not be best, although the article was talking about websites but I wanted to get your thoughts on that. C. How do you make that small shopping bag icon appear on some of your shirts that when clicked, displays price? D. How do I find niche groups on Facebook and how exactly should I go about following them? Should I post my shop link or individual shirt links? How often so it's not spammy? How often should I post other contents and should I be very active on these groups? So many questions. I know Greg...sorry and thank you.
No problem! If you go over 30 tags, Instagram won't allow the post to go through. I've read similarly about using too many hashtags (saying 12 is optimal) but I've always seen the best results with all 30. The shopping feature is actually done through Facebook! I don't have a video on it yet but there are a bunch of good ones on UA-cam to walk through setting that up. To find groups on Facebook, type in the niche in the search bar and filter by groups along the left side. Then join these groups and post about your brand in the most non-spammy way possible. You can post both individual campaigns and the storefront link, whichever suits the post better. I typically approach it as I just wanted to share the brand with people who might appreciate it. Always comment on peoples posts and like them for a week or so before posting a promotional post (also check the group rules to make sure promo posts are allowed). The more active you are in the groups the better, but don't let it monopolize your time as it can be a big time sucker if not done efficiently. I hope that helps!!
Nice Video Greg. Thanks for sharing 😊👍 If I make multiple affiliate marketing sites one after the other, should I expect all of them to start performing after a few months? Or does it work like some may win, some may lose?
Hi Greg, thanks for the video. Some of your points are truly unique - and that's why I have a question. You said about 35 weeks to get consistent traffic and 30 blog posts - where did you get these numbers? Is this something any affiliate marketer knows or maybe it is from Google itself?
Thanks for the comment! these numbers are from trial and error. I don't believe anything (or recommend it) unless I've personally done it myself and seen the results first hand.
Thank you for this great video Greg. You are the only genuine person who honestly educates people without selling a course. I do have one question. Is it okay to have an affiliate website with related niches? For instance, you mentioned rock climbing shoes, can I list rock climbing shoes and also running shoes?
So sorry! I forgot to ask my other question. Which KWFinder level do you recommend purchasing? Assuming that is not the highest level plan, when, if at all, do you suggest moving to the higher level? Thank you.
i have this idea about one niche (idk if i can call it a niche) it's about an interactive t-shirt... i put some topic that the user can use to create a conversation... but the problem is.. the topic has way too much variation... climbing, environmet, talk, parenting, etc... is it a good idea even though you said it very clearly.. one specific niche?
Thanks for asking! I think it's too general to be considered a niche (because it will too hard to target the right people). I'd try starting off with something more specific. Keep in mind the niche storefront is just to be used in the beginning phases for Teespring to get some of your own sales on your account, to get the Trust Score kickstarted, and all the free marketing started. Once you get a few sales on your Teespring account, you no longer need to use storefronts or Instagram at all :) Merch by Amazon and RedBubble start doing marketing for you from day 1, so you don’t need to drive your own traffic to get a trust score or anything with them. With that said, I think you really only need 1 niche storefront and 1 niche Instagram page to drive traffic to Teespring.
No problem! I had an issue with sharing my personal sites in the past (all the content was copied) so I dont share mine anymore.. However I can absolutely point you to a site that does everything spot on! www.dirtbikeplanet.com
Hi Greg, can you put more niches on 1 website? For example if you were to do 30 blog posts on golf shoes, could you put 30 blog posts on golf bags on the same website or would you recommend making a different website? Thanks!
Hello Greg, I wanted to know if it's profitable to create a website for a huge niche (tech products for example) and keep adding posts and products to just this site for a long period of time. I just found your channel today and have been binge watching all of your videos, thank you so much for such valuable content😇
Excellent question! It is possible, yes, but it will be hard to compete with the other established websites. Many of the sites in the big niches are doing the same thing just on a large scale (full corporations with 100+ staff making articles!). It goes to show that the business model is proven and profitable, but the big niches are very competitive. I really reomcmend finding a sub-section of the big niche, like specifically UA-cam video recording setup equipment for example. I hope that helps!
Hey Greg I hope you're all good :) Do you know by any chance if by adding too many pictures and videos to my posts do I slow down the loading time and thus lower my SEO score?
Great question! At least 1000 words per article. You really want 1500+ but if you can get at least 1000 words, Google will see that it has enough "meat" to rank it.
Hey Greg, how niched does the website have to be? Is "make money online" too broad of a niche, or should I go deeper with an "affiliate marketing" website
I'm retired and could build more than five websites per year. Greg, do you think it's best to just build one site and populate it with thirty posts before moving onto the next site? I have all-day every-day to be building and writing articles - plus t-shirt pod.
Thanks for asking! I definitely recommend making 1 site at a time. I've tried multiple at the same time and it's far more difficult to stay on track and continue making great content. I do 1 at a time and it works the best in my opinion.
Great question! UA-cam videos are a bit more unpredictable, however depending on the topic size, it can be a couple days to a couple months and beyond to rank on Google. What's cool is that even just ranking on UA-cam (and not Google) can bring in some pretty good traffic on it's own. I hope that helps a bit!
Hi Greg, i don't understand, for a niche we need to have one website, and for the second different niche, we cannot use the same website, or we can to use the same website? thanks
Hi Greg, thank you so much for the good informations, I have a question do I have to make a paid website or google blog or non-paid WordPress blog will do ?
Thanks for asking! You can be part of the program from anywhere in the world. Using Payoneer, you can connect an international payment account if you need it. Amazon affiliates also has different geographical regions if you are promoting products that are specific to your region :)
@@GregGottfried wait... so i can promote a product from my own country? using my own language? but after thinking about it.. is it worth? because i'm from indonesia and our economy isn't that good.. how do you think?
Hi Greg. What's your view on revenue prospect of using niche website that links to products generally bought by organisations rather than individuals. For example if I were to make a website that talks about accounting software and has affiliate links to several of the accounting software vendors, and those that purchase accounting software are usually organisations, would it be significantly more difficult to get revenue from that affiliation?
Should I only be linking to Amazon? Can I mix affliate links to more than one company? How do you find companies with good affiliate programs? All Good.
You can absolutely like to different affiliates as well. Amazon is just the gold standard :) To find companies with affiliate programs, I often search for the main companies, then search their names in google with affiliate at the end to see if they have a program.
Another great video, thanks Greg you are awesome take care I will stay stunned your German follower my dream is to drink one day a beer with you somewhere in the world after the Corona crisis!
informative and inspiring as always greg! 🍻 btw, 30blog posts in one website niche? can you give a sample website greg...something we can follow and maybe get ideas from if you please. thanks again! 👍👍👍
hi greg! im almost done with my affiliate marketing site. $200 for an annual subscription from Wix is steep for me. So I’m opting for the monthly rate of $22 for now. Wix is stating if I go ahead with that option I wouldn’t have: Free Domain, $300 Ad vouchers, Site booster app and visitor analytics app. How important are these options to have? Is it ok to just go for the $22 for now and upgrade later or just go for for the $200 now and hope for the best??? Thanks greg and happy weekend! 🍻
Great question! Yes, that's the rough timeframe to get to somewhere around peak traffic. Your articles may start ranking within a few days but they won't be in their optimal ranking position for that 35 week timeframe. This is all organic, no backlinking work yourself or anything needed.
I pay for the year at once. WIX is about $200 for the year and a website domain is about $12 for the year. Total cost per site for the year is around $215 per year if using WIX. If you need a cheaper option, WordPress with BlueHost is about $70/year and the domain is again about $12/yr. I hope that helps!
@@GregGottfried Hi Greg, I hope that all is well. I am still a little confused about picking a niche and moving on to the next after 30 posts. If I set up my website and domain is that for only one niche and do I have to repeat the process for each niche (ie. set up a new domain, website for another $200)? Doing it that way would be $200/niche.
Great content again! How many websites do I have to fill in when I apply for Amazon Affiliate Program? Does Teespring URL/Instagram/facebook count as a website? And what do you think about The Walmart Affiliate Program?
You can fill in as many sites as you have, but 1 is all you really need. I'm sure you could use those links in the application but they definitely want to see a more formal website. The Walmart affiliate program is totally acceptable, I really like the Amazon one because more people will buy online from Amazon than Walmart.
Greg, I have a question I hope you can answer for me. I created a listing on Teespring and it is a picture of Australia with "Save Australia" in it. I tried to donate proceeds to a charity in Australia but Teespring only uses US charities. I have the design set at "private" while I emailed them 2 times with no response. I decided to put a link to an animal charity in Australia in the description instead so my question is, do you think that will cause me a problem or will it be ok? I know this is kind of a unique question so I completely understand if you can't answer me. Just thought if anyone would know it would be you. I haven't gone "live" with it yet. Thank you as always
Hey Roger, thanks for asking! I dont think you will have any issues with this. It may be borderline with their policies (putting clickable links in the description) but that fact that it is for this specific cause, I dont think they will have an issue with it. The other thing you can do is state the amount to be donated, and then keep very good track of total sales and proceeds, and donate accordingly (It would be much easier to just have the proper charity allowed in the donations list lol). I hope that helps!
Hey Greg I built 3 AM websites and I earned absolutely nothing so far. Almost a year has gone by and I wonder if I should renew the Wix hostings or not since they’re pretty expensive all 3 of them combined. What do you think? Thanks
You mentioned Fiverr. If I hire someone to write for me, do I have ownership of the content? And I'm not sure which video it is, but you mentioned Fiverr writers who you've worked with and have had success. Do you mind giving me the link or video title here? Thank you for all that you do -- and for FREE!!
Great question! Yes if you hire someone to write for you, you will still own the rights to the content. The writers come and go off the platform so I don't have any current fiver writers to recommend. I'm planning to do a more elaborate video on this topic :)
I am a medicine student and i want affiliate marketing as a passive income source.... is it enough to work on only one website...obviously niche specific???
Hi Dani, Great question. You absolutely can! Especially if you do some of your own marketing to get traffic. I like to post valuable blog posts into niche groups on Facebook to get initial traffic, and sales. Hope that helps!
Hello Greg! Thank you for these tips! Can I have the same Amazon affiliate account to my other UA-cam channels? Can I have the same affiliate links on different channels as well? Also How do we get paid, is it through PayPal? Thank you again :)
Is it really that simple? There are so many channels on UA-cam which talk so much about creating one website and fine-tuning the content and SEO for months (even a year+), untill it is successful, then move on to the next. If it is actually all about keep creating great content, 30 per site, it may sound over simplified to some!
Sorry for not getting this out sooner! I wish you were able to sit on that site for a bit longer to see if it would have started ranking on it's own.. Since you have the content already made, you can always make a new site and drip publish the posts. Let me know if I can help at all or if you have any questions going forward!!

So sorry! I forgot to ask my other question. Which KWFinder level do you recommend purchasing? Assuming that is not the highest level plan, when, if at all, do you suggest moving to the higher level? Thank you.
Thanks bro 😉
i have this idea about one niche (idk if i can call it a niche) it's about an interactive t-shirt... i put some topic that the user can use to create a conversation... but the problem is.. the topic has way too much variation... climbing, environmet, talk, parenting, etc... is it a good idea even though you said it very clearly.. one specific niche?
HI Greg! Thanks for your videos!
Can you share with me one of your sites to see it as an example?
Thanks!
No problem! I had an issue with sharing my personal sites in the past (all the content was copied) so I dont share mine anymore.. However I can absolutely point you to a site that does everything spot on! www.dirtbikeplanet.com
@@GregGottfried Thanks a lot! This gives me an idea about the content!
Hi Greg, can you put more niches on 1 website? For example if you were to do 30 blog posts on golf shoes, could you put 30 blog posts on golf bags on the same website or would you recommend making a different website? Thanks!
Thank you for +vity sir
You're welcome! 👍
Hello Greg,
I wanted to know if it's profitable to create a website for a huge niche (tech products for example) and keep adding posts and products to just this site for a long period of time.
@@GregGottfried thank you so much, this gives me a very clear picture, you rock🔥
Hello greg ! I love your channel. I have a question. Why should only post 1 types of niche for one website ? Any concern ?
Thank you
Apprised 😙
Hey Greg I hope you're all good :)
Do you know by any chance if by adding too many pictures and videos to my posts do I slow down the loading time and thus lower my SEO score?
This may have been addressed, is there a recommended word count for each article?
Greg... you rock!!!
Thanks so much Nokie! If you have any affiliate marketing questions at all feel free to reach out anytime!
, yes I sure will! Thank you.
+Greg Gottfried Hi! If a blog/website post takes up to 35 weeks, how long does it take for a UA-cam video to start ranking on Google? Thanks!
Hi Greg, i don't understand, for a niche we need to have one website, and for the second different niche, we cannot use the same website, or we can to use the same website? thanks
Yes, exactly! Each site is it's own niche (so google, and visitors, know what your site is about).
Hi Greg, thank you so much for the good informations, I have a question do I have to make a paid website or google blog or non-paid WordPress blog will do ?
Thankyou
Can we use different niche site products in single social network to promote?
Great question! Yes as many different products within the same niche as you would like :)
Great content! A question: is the amazon affiliate system good only for USA citizens? How do you get commission if you live in Europe?
Amazon requires a website if you want to join their affiliate program. Is facebook fanpage considered a website? Thanks
Great question! It's possible.. I've seen UA-cam channels work but advent personally seen a FB page. I would 100% give it a shot.
IMPORTANT
Thanks for the comment! These things are so important so I'm glad you liked it!
how do you start affilliate marketing, if possible, it would be helpful, if not it's okay, thank you for your videos
Great question! I made a video to walk you through exactly how I do it! Hope this helps! ua-cam.com/video/d7SJepbLYNE/v-deo.html
btw, 30blog posts in one website niche? can you give a sample website greg...something we can follow and maybe get ideas from if you please.
thanks again! 👍👍👍
Absolutely! I recommend checking out dirtbikeplanet.com it's a very good example site.
hi greg! im almost done with my affiliate marketing site.
I am confused on a one part. 35 weeks to rank on google without offpage optimization (like backlinks and stuff)?
Great question! Yes, that's the rough timeframe to get to somewhere around peak traffic. Your articles may start ranking within a few days but they won't be in their optimal ranking position for that 35 week timeframe. This is all organic, no backlinking work yourself or anything needed.
Valuable 💸💸💸💲💵💵💵💲💸💸
I appreciate that- thank you!👍🏼
Do you pay monthly for each domain of each website that you use for affiliate marketing?
How do you afford all of the hosting if you have multiple niche sites?
Is it one niche per website because then I will have to make a whole new website for another niche
Thumbs up!
Thanks Christian! If you have any questions at all, let me know!
Does "website" include UA-cam?
Yes, on the affiliate applications, you can put a UA-cam channel as your website.
Hello Greg I recently heard that amazon had slashed its affiliate payout percentage by HALF. Is this so and has it had an impact on your sales?
@@GregGottfried Thanks
Hello Nit, have you started your affiliate marketing career? how have you been getting on. please let me know :D
Thank you for the video. My question is, can you make any money in these 35 weeks, if your web site is nicely done?
Hi Dani, Great question. You absolutely can! Especially if you do some of your own marketing to get traffic. I like to post valuable blog posts into niche groups on Facebook to get initial traffic, and sales. Hope that helps!
@@GregGottfriedVery helpful! Thank you. Love your channel! Keep it up.
Is 20 blog post good ? I cant come up with 10 more 😩
Keep going, those 10 more are going to worth so much down the road ;)
@@GregGottfried ok appreciate it.
Pinterest and Instagram is free advertising for ur blog
Can i still do this or is it dead? I notice this video is a bit dated now.
hey man did you start this at all?
Define "Blog Post" please, I think I know but ...
At least 1000 words per "post" and all original content that you write. I've got a few videos on the channel walking through these in more detail :)
@@GregGottfried
Thanks, I will check them out
I wish I watched this video before I "canceled" name domain for my affiliate marketing website that I created a year ago...
Sorry for not getting this out sooner! I wish you were able to sit on that site for a bit longer to see if it would have started ranking on it's own.. Since you have the content already made, you can always make a new site and drip publish the posts. Let me know if I can help at all or if you have any questions going forward!!
@@GregGottfried Thank you!!! The video inspired me to continue and to find more niches.
Right on! That's the goal, I just got into 2 more yesterday!
Hello sir. Hope you recognizing me. Is it 30 posts per day or???
Welcome back :) 30 posts total per site. If you can do 1 post per day, or 1 post per week, that is a good pace. I hope that helps!
Ok sir, thanks
I would give you a million thumbs up if I could
You're awesome..! Thank you so much for the support!
