I remember playing this game a few years ago, always felt like getting the French to do anything is like trying to fight a buzzsaw with a pool noodle. Plenty of morale, command benefits, and that superb Prussian artillery for the enemy! And the French unit strength was so low (and Prussian morale so high) that its so inconsistent to get good hits with the rifles. I feel like historically this battle was only really going to go one way. Looking forward to see how this plays out!
Thanks for commenting. In our game the French actually win this scenario, but as we discuss in our review video, the win conditions seem a little bit out of whack. Sorry I took so long to reply - real life intrudes.
