- Even though it’s been around a couple seasons now, I never did a full ride video for the new Thomas The Tank Engine train in Thomas Town at Kennywood Park. The Thomas train follows roughly the same path as the old Kennywood train did with a railroad crossing though Thomas Town. I heard that kennywood also had a garfield dark ride that was formerly and infamously known as "the old mill." I came from Defunctland just so you know
Edit because I forgot: I'm a long-time fan of Thomas and friends, and all engines go so this Thomas park and the garfield ride are right up my alley.
They did! Defunctland reached out to me to use some of my ride video for his video on Garfield!

@@thegamingrailfan7905 I did make out on the ride prior to it changing to Garfield, but that was high school and it was way darker when it was the old mill! But I can’t say I’ve personally seen anything beyond that!

@@thegamingrailfan7905 they have a Thomas section they added to the park, beyond the train, they have a drop tower, helicopter ride, a smaller kids train and a firefighter ride, all Thomas themed in that section.

Nothing against Thomas, but I wish they would stop changing up the old, traditional rides and basing the new ones off of kid's cartoons. The rides were already perfect as they were.
I agree, they could make new rides and instead just just seem to update older rides with newer things. Although they didn’t do much on the train. The engine is much different sure, but a few billboards and some Thomas music.
