Great content as always. I love what you guys are doing, it’s great to see options for all budgets…. and it nicely illustrates the principles behind the solutions! Keep up the great content- I always learn something and always have fun watching!
Great breakdown Joe. I like a ground sheet, closed cell foam pad and layer it with other mats as temperature dictates. Also carry a couple drum liners just in case. Nate
I made a ground sheet with an old surplus wool blanket and a couple yards of oilskin fabric. One of my favorite pieces of kit. It's amazing how much something like that can insulate you from the earth. Nice video!!
I confess, i often put the speed up on UA-cam videos so i can consume more in less real time but not with you Joe, you're already speaking at my optimum consumption speed 😂😂
Hello. I'm most of the way through watching and we just switched over to the sleeping mat. I just thought that if you are talking about $ you should post an indicative price on the subsequent items. I am enjoying the info very much.
@lisamchutchison6572 hey 👋. I did want to do that, but they vary so much in price depending on whether it is a European brand being sold in America or vice versa. I averaged em out and left the links to the average prices in the description of the video. Thank you for the kind words, and if there is any content you would like to see in the future, let us know. Enjoy the journey 📸🌄🌳🌲🌴
@davef5916 hey 🤜🤛 I use it in my.summer sleeping bags, but I have never used it as a stand-alone piece of sleeping equipment. If I do, it's mostly as a Scarf or something to keep the wind off my legs around the fire. That's not say it wouldn't work. I just run cold.

That sounds awesome. I had my wool blankets made into anoraks. I might some more to make some ground cloths. Thanks for the idea

Working my way through your content. Most helpful. Now recommending your channel, Sir
Great vid Joe keep the vids coming 👍🏼
Nice one Joe 👍 trying out the new swag roll tomorrow with 10cm foam mattress. Interested to see how insulative it is.

great run down! have you ever used the carinthia liner in summer instead of a sleeping bag? Wondering what temps it might work down to if so.
