Janey, thank you for coming up to film a garden tour! I always have such a good time with you. Laughing no stop! Thanks again and can’t wait to come film in your garden soon 💕😄
Such a peaceful garden. Well done. I had a wisteria and unfortunately did not flower for 20 years. Not even 1 bloom. So I finally gave up on it and pulled. My niece gave me one for my birthday and wow is it amazing. 5 yrs and outstanding. Robbie I wish you best of luck. Next year it’ll be beautiful. 💚🇨🇦
I just came back to see your garden again at the beginning of the summer season Robbie and the amount of flowers you harvested for bouquets all through the last 4 months has been beyond belief. And every bouquet is gorgeous. I hope you're going to continue to have that amazing abundance of flowers again next year, just so we can see you make your bouquets. thanks for a second visit in May!
Love Lola!! I really appreciate + enjoy the crisp color scheme, the white w the black trim is yummy. WE NEED A NIGHT TOUR!! Captions interpreted "charcuterie" as "shark hootery"! Ah, the joys of approaching deafness lol :)
What size is Robbie’s property? Looks are deceiving..the garden just kept going and going! Is that a chicken coupe in the very back where the basil was? Also did you build the aviary? It’s adorable! Bravo!! I cannot believe that garden is less than 3 years old!! ❤❤❤
Do you have a garden center in Sacramento that carries Proven Winners. None of our garden centers in Bakersfield carry PW. Just the hit and miss at Home Depot and lowes.
At about 12 minutes into the video, I said omg! A moon garden, and then you mentioned just that! And then proceeded to talk about the moon garden and all of your black flowers 🖤! I work with the moon cycles and gardening and I just wanted to share this with you, so the New Moon phase is a dark time in the sky, and your black flowers can really represent this phase of the moon, so really, your garden is a space to celebrate the New Moon! A time for new beginnings and setting intentions! So inspiring to me!!! Your space is gorgeous 😍
I want more garden tours, they’re amazing, I can get more ideas for my garden. You and your friend have a very contagious laughter that makes the tour more enjoyable. Thanks 😊
I think I was listening to the PW Gardening Simplified podcast and Stacey talked about gardeners who were noticing plants dying back to the ground and coming back variegated. She said it was a sign the the plant had a virus 😢 hope it’s not the case with your lilac but maybe you should keep an eye on it in case it is viral.
Your garden looks amazing Robbie .Love thd fence color!! I’m wondering niw if I could paint my pvc fence too😅 So much fun w Janey ,you are the best of friends,so nice
Robbie’s garden is just wonderful. Truly a labor of love! You two are so great together…fun and such a passion for “all things garden”. Love this tour❤️
Great videos thank you for showing your garden it was wonderful I love that duck but my husband would have a duck if I had one. Birds drive him crazy he is immaculate on our and driveway you cannot stand a pooping bird!!!!
Morning glorys are EXTREMELY invasive and you don't even have to wait years. They spread everywhere within the first season. I'm still ripping them out years later after only one plant.
Uhm birds ABSOLUTELY steal plants. They ripped my dichondra silver falls to nothing! I did see them do it, but before I did, I saw pieces of it laying right below where they nest and hang out in our carport! With the rest of their trash and waste 🤣 I sprinkled peppermint oil AND red pepper and they didn’t give a crap. Tore it to shreds. Ugh. They took some off the lobelia too.
I love your tours, but this one with your friend Robbie is just filled with joy along with a wonderful garden and history of his garden. Just loving the joy of this tour!
I really enjoyed watching this garden tour. I wish you could post the names of some of the plants. The substitute for a Japanese Maple that has pink blooms and little pepper seeds. I would really buy it if I had the name.
I too love Robbie’s garden. I subscribed to you both some time ago. Makes me laugh when you two name each others plants. I forget plant names and need a buddy to tell me what I’ve planted too! 😁
Open Pennsylvania is there any gardens at memorial Park in this is I'm from Pennsylvania and I have 30 gardens at memorial Park in New my phone keeps going off so don't mind the interruptions but I have that that blue flower by text I love that plant I have it out there I have it at my yard so yeah I love it talk to you later bye
Variegated lilac* The impatient gardener or something like that she posted in her blog something exactly the same they might have some answers as to what it is I took a picture but idk how to post it with this comment but the plant is just like that one that u guys don’t know what or why it’s like that
Just found your wonderful videos. I also live near SF. Which town or which part of northern CA do you live? Climates seem to vary so much in northern CA.
I love his garden! Have you ever featured a wheelchair accessible garden? I am looking for ideas for my garden to make it even more accessible than it already is. TY
Oh Janey I Love Robbies video's. He has such a kind heart.i learned alot about flowers today. Thank you Robbie for letting us visit you for awhile and I enjoyed every minute of. Janey thank you for bringing us along with you. So until next time God Bless you both and have a Blessed evening and stay safe my dear and Special Friends.
I love your garden tours. Regarding the Japanese maple , I grow a Bloodgood Japanese maple and a coral bark maple in my backyard The Japanese maple has been there for 12 years, the coral bark was planted this year. Ii live in zone 9b, in the middle of summer our days are hot!!!! And the evenings do not cool off. I do water them every day during the hot months. they are beautiful! I have an Emperor Japanese Maple in the front yard approximately 12 years. You could grow one, make sure to pick an Emperor or a Bloodgood Japanese maple they are the most heat tolerant. Plant in the fall or very early spring so they have time to develop roots that helps with the heat as well. I made the mistake of ripping everything out from underneath my Bloodgood maple and adding succulents that did not need water so of course the top of my Bloodgood suffered that year😢 I love that you are a fellow gardener in zone 9B. I’ve watched Laura from garden answers for years and although she can get some hot summers her evening’s cool down which helps the soil cool down. It seems like most of the beautiful gardens I see on UA-cam are gardens in zones 5-7. So I appreciate your 9b garden videos and all the effort you put into them! Thanks😊
I used to be crushed when i killed something in my garden. Hooray ,other people who know way more than myself have plants in their yards die.. Thanks for helping us to realize that under even the best circumstances ,plants will sometimes "DIE". No worries ,plant something esle that you love!❤❤❤❤
Oh my God Robbie, your black holly hocks... those are everything! I can’t believe you were almost going to cut them back this spring 🤦🏽♀️ Can you please give me some more info on the whitish rose tree/bush that was looking so gorge?? What is the name and do you have a link? Thanks🌻
I just love your enthusiasm - it is infectious, so much so that I'm fully engaged and truly feel like I'm there. Great job - fantastic garden - loved everything. A beautiful garden tour with so many good vibes I can feel them through my computer screen - made me smilewhile I took notes of my favorites - that appleblossom snapdragon is now on top of my list!
Discovered you both this Spring. Look forward to you along with the both Lauras. Have so enjoyed your energy. Plus I’m in SantaRosa CA 9b so great to see ‘locals’ content. My front rail fence I had installed after a juniper removal is black. You both have convinced me to do the backyard black. I’m mostly succulents/aloes/agaves. Hmmm. Sounds like a perfect backdrop!
when I watched my first Robbie video a couple of weeks ago I loved the Artichoke plant and had to plant one myself...its so fun to watch it grow (and grow fast) I'm in Colorado
Honesty is probably Lunaria annua. Most are biennial. They have self seeded in my shade areas in Modoc County which is in a much cooler zone than you guys. I've total zone envy watch you garden videos 😍
Birds snatching new seedlings - I surround newly planted seeds with toilet paper rolls, any plastic round containers (sour cream, cottage cheese, etc.) until they grow a bit.
Wait a min, there is no way Robbie's garden is only two years old!!! 😮 Unbelievable! He must work in the garden every single day and winter sow seeds😂😂
Such a fun video !! When I was a child in Scotland, my Grandfather used to grow tomatoes in his greenhouse. He was a butcher and always had a rabbit's tail ( sorry Hermoine ) tied to the end of a cane specifically to "tickle" the tomato flowers to pollinate them. No bees in a greenhouse !
Omg! I throughly enjoyed this❤ What a wonderful gardener he is. Their gardens are so beautiful. The fence looks awesome!! I have to follow him now too😊
Janey, thank you for coming up to film a garden tour! I always have such a good time with you. Laughing no stop! Thanks again and can’t wait to come film in your garden soon 💕😄
Haven't even yet watched the video but want to say, that Robbie radiates such good hearted vibes. Look forward to watch his santuary garden.
Yes!! agree with this 💯
What a fun time! Please take us back for an update. What a wonderful space!
I heard decades ago if the plant is from seeds, it won't bloom, has to be from cuttings. I'm 65 and that is still in the front of my brain.
Just stunning Robbie
Love Lola!! I really appreciate + enjoy the crisp color scheme, the white w the black trim is yummy.
WE NEED A NIGHT TOUR!!

Hi, we are on 1/4 acres but it’s like a bowling alley 😂 and yes we built that aviary 💚 thank you Cynthia
Seriously on the raspberries. They don't make it to the house. That "Lilac" is not. It is Tovara virginiana. Great plant.
Do you have a garden center in Sacramento that carries Proven Winners. None of our garden centers in Bakersfield carry PW. Just the hit and miss at Home Depot and lowes.
Same in Sacramento area. I ordered on line from proven winners direct early spring and check HD and Lowe’s every week.
Not our cat.... Not our rooster
Robbie’s garden is awesome and I always enjoy you two together. It’s a fun video. Love and blessings🌼🌸🌺

I was about to say the same thing! “New moon garden”… now it’s ‘a thing’!
What a cool post!
Really enjoyed your tour, beautiful place. Hope to see an update as season progresses 💐
Absolutely beautiful love your gardens!!!
Can't wait to see everything in bloom.
I'll add in that vitex is used as Cough medicine. It's actually the main ingredient of a lot of branded otc cough medicine in my town.
I love our Vitex trees. I keep them in large pots and cut them back every spring to keep them in check.
So glad to have found you both! I'm so inspired.
What a beautiful garden! Thanks for sharing. 🌻M
I want more garden tours, they’re amazing, I can get more ideas for my garden. You and your friend have a very contagious laughter that makes the tour more enjoyable. Thanks 😊
Subscribed to Robbie’s channel! So much info to enjoy! Thx Janey!

Beautiful garden and fun tour!
I’ve heard of “ honesty “ plant called Money or silver dollar plant also- old timey plant - still love it too!🪙
Love your relationship with Robbie and love his garden - especially all the black flowers. SO cool!!
Robbie’s garden is just wonderful. Truly a labor of love! You two are so great together…fun and such a passion for “all things garden”. Love this tour❤️
I really love your Robbie/Janey "Crossover" videos. 😊🤣😎Keep making them! You guys are so real and fun.
Good job guys. Getting in the garden and having fun. It’s always changing and so much to talk about. Keep it up
Great videos thank you for showing your garden it was wonderful I love that duck but my husband would have a duck if I had one. Birds drive him crazy he is immaculate on our and driveway you cannot stand a pooping bird!!!!
Morning glorys are EXTREMELY invasive and you don't even have to wait years. They spread everywhere within the first season. I'm still ripping them out years later after only one plant.
I LOVE how you are growing the honey suckle on the fence! Gorgeous!
Uhm birds ABSOLUTELY steal plants. They ripped my dichondra silver falls to nothing! With the rest of their trash and waste 🤣 I sprinkled peppermint oil AND red pepper and they didn’t give a crap. Tore it to shreds. Ugh. They took some off the lobelia too.
Your mystery plant looks like fallopia japonica variegata...Japanese knotweed. If so, it can be very invasive.
I love your tours, but this one with your friend Robbie is just filled with joy along with a wonderful garden and history of his garden. Just loving the joy of this tour!
Really good all the shrubs are getting bigger now.
Amazing gardens…so inspiring ❤. How big is your property, just curious. Thanks for sharing this!!
Gorgeous garden. Our St John's Wort has been bird-seeded everywhere. We've dug out dozens of plants and there are more coming up. 😂
I couldn’t quite make out the name of the red salvia in Robbie’s beautiful yard, could you let us know what it’s called? Thanks.
Why are ur tomatoes so much bigger than mine? Because I'm a really good gardener, too funny..really nice vid
What is the plant near the fountain in the backyard that Robby says brings in hummingbirds..some type of salvia
I keep thinking that I’m done commenting… nope. There are so many spaces that I love!
Beautiful garden! ❤ the plant looks like a hardy hibiscus to me 🤷🏻♀️
What was name of saliva?? Please I LOVE hummingbirds
My lord the WORK! Can’t imagine how he keeps up!
Is Robbie in zone 9 A or B. Lovely garden. He’s delightful ❤
Variegated lilac* The impatient gardener or something like that she posted in her blog something exactly the same they might have some answers as to what it is I took a picture but idk how to post it with this comment but the plant is just like that one that u guys don’t know what or why it’s like that
I have two brunera. Zone 7, and I keep them at the back of my garden, quite shaded..
Your garden is gorgeous! Love the aviary! It looks like something out of a fairy tale!
The hollyhocks are called The Watchman; I have them growing in my yard.
I just love him so much! Immediately following him!
If not a black and blue salvia it might be a type of agastache. Blue fortune maybe.
Have those same hollyhocks growing only these darn santa ana winds blew them over. 😢
Doesn’t a black fence intensify the heat in the yard? I hear you talk about how intense the heat is in the summer.
Do peonies in your yard or in Robbies attract ants? When I read about peonies that is one thing I always see.
Need a nice painting or art on the wall across from the porch chairs. Like at that one garden where the guy uses all the art in his yard 😍
Love everything Robbie. Thanks for touring and recording Janey. You guys are an awesome combination!
Enjoyed this garden tour, the black fence truly made a difference. All flowers and trees look amazing 🌸😍
What area does he live in? Such a beautiful home and garden!
Everything is so pretty. Is that a weeping willow?
You two are so entertaining!❤ I’m laughing so hard!
Robby yall should get a pink or yellow mimosia.
Just found your wonderful videos. I also live near SF. Which town or which part of northern CA do you live? Climates seem to vary so much in northern CA.
Hi Tess! Thanks for being here, I am in Davis, CA, Zone 9B. Thanks for being here 💗
Oh my Lord… his property is huge! I had no idea! Great job Robbie!
Omg, those hollyhocks!!! ❤️
That peony could be a "Shirley Temple?
St. John's Wart is beautiful!
Now I want to see the garden at night for the lighting
What Zone is this? Garden is beautiful but I don't know if I can grow the stuff.🌱🌻😊
Well Then, Let Me EAT MY WORDS....With my zone 9 salad 😉😍🍺
Coral Charm peonies fade from pink to white
Love your garden tours the best! ❤
Peony could be mothers choice?
such a lovely garden! I love the dark fence as well, it really makes the plants pop. 😊-Cara
I now need black hollyhocks❤
Where can we buy your own brand of baseball cap with your motto on it?
Hi Nancy, I recently released some new merch on my website. Hoping to restock hats soon!
I love his garden!
Have you ever featured a wheelchair accessible garden? I am looking for ideas for my garden to make it even more accessible than it already is. TY
Ahh! Stay tuned! It’s hopefully in the works 🤞🏼
I'll be looking forward to seeing it! 😀
What is Robbie’s UA-cam channel name?
Hi! That’s me 💚 Visit Our Garden
Are there chickens!?
Yes, behind the “veggie” garden!
Hi Janey 🌺.Your friend Robbie has abeautiful garden . The peony that changes color is ( baroness schroeder ). Have awonderful day .🦋🌺🦋

Black hollyhocks are Baker Creek! Jet something. Biennial. (Just planted some.)

The fence looks awesome!!
I have to follow him now too😊
