Yes. I would actually avoid going to the Brownstone Diner in Jersey City if I knew their episode aired recently. The wait would be such that you could go for brunch, and get seated for dinner.
Yes! Route 58 Deil in Va Beach. It was super delicious and very busy.
The Fly Trap in Ferndale Michigan, which is right next to Royal Oak where I lived, but everyone already knew of it

Here’s something else you might not know about Guy Fieri. Dude has helped feed victims and first responders during wildfires here in No. Cal. Me and my wife both watch and support his shows. We’re also looking forward to eating at as many of his restaurants as possible once this-pandemic settles down.
I’ve been to almost 10 locations, probably more before I started keeping track. I am newly retired from the military and am going to start a road trip going to all these locations from the show. Obviously in a strategic manor. Going to have to go back to them though to get pics and receipts to document. Ya know, sort of my own DDD collection book. Something to do and keep my busy in between cruises.

I've been to a few of these locations without even knowing he had been there and not only were they not very busy they weren't very good!
Ask Shirley's Tippy Canoe in Troutdale Oregon. So good there was a mysterious fire and probable insurance claim.
We seem to be losing all the mom and pop bbq and burger places and they are being replaced by not so good chain comparisons. Enjoy the show.
I used to enjoy a quiet meal at a waterfront restaurant in Sarasota before he featured it. Not possible any more.

200%? Really? Hmmm...If this is true then why is did his own restaurant here in Hampton, Virginia, Guy Fieri's Dive & Taco Joint, fail? It was over priced, horrible service and the food was subpar. It was in a great location, right near the interstate, located around shopping malls and other popular bars/restaurants like PBR, plenty of possible customers. What a disappointment.

Duh. It should be common sense as to why they appear on the show. If the food look pretty good, and if it is near you, or you travel there on vacation. You are more then likely going to try the place for yourself.

I thought it was "F.i.e.R.i," not "F.i.e.T.i."
In Italian, the sound is between the English "r" and "t" sounds, so the name should sound something like "fee-ed'-ee." That phoneme does not exist in English, so in order to sound "authentic," some people who can't do the legitimate pronunciation just use the "t" sound. Given that we're not in Italy, Guy Fieri's name should be pronounced however he prefers, but I don't recall hearing him say his last name.
