I appreciate the video as always, but this one just seems a bit too “sell the product” to me. I understand you’re sponsored by them, but to put it bluntly, I did not subscribe for standalone sponsored videos. Completely understand the ads in between normal videos, just personally not a fan of this. Hopefully that didn’t come across the wrong way, as I just want to offer constructive criticism to keep the channel growing.

Some complain about this being an ad, a sponsored video. I get it, but the thing is, *is the information valid?* I haven't been given any good reason to believe Alex would lie to me and if all I got out of this "ad" was another good lead from someone who hasn't steered me wrong yet, then I'm happy with the 5 minutes I spent here. Some say they didn't subscribe for this kind of content. Again, fair enough. However, I'd argue that *I* subscribed to *Alex*--to get what he believes will be helpful. That's what I'm getting here until I see otherwise. Don't get me wrong; if this channel turns into a sponsor-fest then I'm out as quick as anyone, but we're no where near that yet. Developing relationships with trusted products and services isn't inherently wrong (it just has a bad reputation), and if I'm going to trust the various tips and tricks Alex shares, I'm not going to stop trusting him just because something is sponsored (again, unless it gets to be characteristic of the channel).
Just my two cents.
Also, you still need $30k to open an account and you have to keep a $25k minimum balance. They refer you to their Venom Trading service where non-day-trading accounts can be had "for as little as $3,000).

Word on the street is they’re losing traders to another firm. They’ve matched the rates, and are going easy on the locates with no mark up these past few weeks. Hope they stay this way for the regular clients. Competition is good. You putting out this video on behalf of them shows they’re trying. I believe you man.

In WikiFx trey are listed as RISKY now at the end of 2023 with a low score of 1.50 so by now they've gone crooked or sour. Too bad

IC Markets and EagleFX are two brokers that I would recommend. Customer support is particularly good with EagleFX. Great video.

No way you have tried them all! I don't understand why people jump from broker to broker so quickly. I have been using CedarFX for a few years and never had any issues or reason to look elsewhere.
That was a promotional video than an honest opinion. You didn’t even talk about fees and expenses. Free commissions will not make a beginner trader into a successful trader but commissions will certainly kick them out of the game before they become good at the game.
not a self-clearing firm is a big no for me, I like to deal with the big boys that call their own shots

They all knew about trading very well but trade with an overview about your portfolio as well. The extraordinary part would be to find one who can't see your trades and orders to be 100% secure they wouldn't push or chase you with their liquidity to help or teach you lessons or something. But i guess that's never gonna happen since you program your own trading platform.
I’ve got to be honest the hook for me was there lock out feature been on TOS for 3 yrs and thinking of making a switch but was hoping to hear more info on fees 🤷🏼♂️
I'm currently with LS and have an account with TDA linked to DAS. Love LS but am such a big fan of DAS. I have been doing some research on brokers and and very interested in Cobra. How have executions been for you? I primarily trade options. Thanks man.

So for me in the Netherlands Cobra is just not it, unfortunately.. Because when brokers are located in the US, they have the PDT rule in place, right!? (besides Forex) Also those regulations are not suited for European users.. I was hoping to hear more about your second opinion brokers out there, the ones In the UK are actually the sweet spot.. Especially if they are true STP/ECN brokers..

Hi what you mean setup your max loss you mean the broker force you to close the position if you hit your max loss on unrealized losing ?
You can set a max loss with them and it will make it to where you can’t place a trade. So at least to protect you from you. Maybe see idk if they close out unrealized positions… I haven’t had that issue. Personally.

Not sure why you’re getting some backlash on this…you’ve always been very transparent that Cobra is your broker and that they sponsor you. And you provide a TON of free, legit, content and suddenly everyone has an opinion on this one video? They have multiple options. I use Das pro. Combined with TOS for charting.

TDameritrade is the one i like and they are great. But I have only tried 3. I use Fidelity too right now but TD is better.And I like Think or Swim.

there are lots of brokers out there that do all different things it looks like you have found what works for you but will not be the case for every one, over time i have also tried lots of different brokers i like Icmarkets for forex basic and Hugosway for Crypto set ups

Hey Alex how are the order fills with cobra? Are they good as interactive broker. When it comes to order fill.
For me I feel they are great. Also know I think E*trade has great executions too.
@@BTheStory I'm with Etrade & they Sometimes have issues just filling (executions) of 50 or less. I'm going to See if THEY improve now that Morgan Stanley is involved, but I'm LOOKING around for another Broker who can handle my Day trading with 5,000 shares or more Shares

i'm going to sign up with cobra but i only have 27,000 so how do i make this work? ive been with tda but they suck...i'm very limited to what i can short. so a few years back i started with 50k and bet on a penny stock (hmbl) it soared and i sold at 245,000...since then ive been day trading on stocks going up and lost big time. if i had shorted every play my account would be up there...i could be the best shorter on earth possibly. 25 to 1 is my ratio...pretty much everything i buy goes down. maybe i'm possed i don't know but i have to try cobra...how do i sign up with 27,000 ? thx@@BTheStory
Has anyone in the US used IG at all yet?
For, let's say, a stock that is up around 100% on the day with low-float and priced from about $1 to $10, how would you compare the availability of shares for short-selling on Cobra vs. Interactive Brokers? (Not necessarily whether they are "no-cost to locate" or not, but whether they are actually available or not) Do you find that shares unavailable on Interactive Brokers end up being available on Cobra often?
Personally brotha, I left IB b/c they struggled having a lot of shares available...so I do think Cobra has them way more often.

I believe you about Cobra's customer service also because I went on their website last month to check them out and I got right through to their online chat to ask them some questions. I might open an account, especially if I start getting more seriously involved in short-selling. Thanks for all your vids and helpful interviews with other traders (you're a good interviewer and I like the questions you ask the traders like about their thought process, trading action, etc., because it gives us good information).

I tried them and personally. I Did not enjoy. Borrows were few and far in between at the time i was using them
@B The Story Thanks for the replies! I've spent a lot of time learning how to use the station properly... I feel like it can be used for day trading even though it's an all in 1 broker.
I used them, they are alright, there's a reason they have cheap commission, but the software is glitchy and worse part when you trade size and intraday where sometime seconds counts. I had the software froze up on me more than once when I had huge size, by the time i relogin the asset traded away from my area and i was down thousands. They are okay for longer term trading.

Have you ever used TradeZero? Just like you, I trade more to the downside. TradeZero is known for their short locates, so I was wondering how Cobra compares to them? Better/worse/equal?
And yeah, Like you say, service is something that is almost non-existent in the trading world. Don’t know how many times horrible service from brokers have pissed me off 😂
TZ in my opinion...plz take it with grain as I had an account for a sneeze of a minute lol b/c I quickly saw....it was way to pricey and not good service at the time I tried.
