I'm 54 and my wife and I are VERY worried about our future, gas and food prices rising daily. We have had our savings dwindle with the cost of living into the stratosphere, and we are finding it impossible to replace them. We can get by, but can't seem to get ahead. My condolences to anyone retiring in this crisis, 30 years nonstop just for a crooked system to take all you worked for.
I feel your pain mate, as a fellow retiree, I’d suggest you look into passive index fund investing and learn some more. For me, I had my share of ups and downs when I first started looking for a consistent passive income so I hired an expert advisor for aid, and following her advice, I poured $30k in value stocks and digital assets, Up to 200k so far and pretty sure I'm ready for whatever comes.
@@Elliot-Ivan That's actually quite impressive, I could use some Info on your FA, I am looking to make a change on my finances this year as well
@@imohimoh3441 My advisor is VICTORIA CARMEN SANTAELLA;
You can look her up online
@@Elliot-Ivan The crazy part is that those advisors are probably outperforming the market and raising good returns but some are charging fees over fees that drain your portfolio. Is this the case with yours too?
As an lnvesting enthusiast, I often wonder how top level investors are able to become millionaires off investing. . I’ve been sitting on over $545K equity from a home sale and I’m not sure where to go from here, is it a good time to buy into stocks or do I wait for another opportunity?
I think the safest strategy is to diversify investments. Like spreading investments across different asset classes, like bonds, real estate, and international stocks, they can reduce the impact of a market meltdown
A lot of folks downplay the role of advlsors until being burnt by their own emotions. I remember couple summers back, after my lengthy divorce, I needed a good boost to help my business stay afloat, hence I researched for licensed advisors and came across someone of utmost qualifications. She's helped grow my reserve notwithstanding inflation, from $275k to $850k
This is definitely considerable! think you could suggest any professional/advisors i can get on the phone with? I'm in dire need of proper portfolio allocation
My CFA NICOLE ANASTASIA PLUMLEE a renowned figure in her line of work. I recommend researching her credentials further... She has many years of experience and is a valuable resource for anyone looking to navigate the financial market.
Just ran an online search on her name and came across her websiite; pretty well educated. thank you for sharing.

Day Trading is a different strategy that deals with short term profits and is successful for lots of people who know what they’re doing. If an individual chooses to day trading that’s a risk they should be free to take so long as they understand the potential risks. The reason so many people fail is because they fail to do this. Choosing to devalue a brokerage for offering this as an option is like alienating a grocery company that sells its customers cigarettes or alcohol.
I was thinking the exact same thing. Couldn't have said it better myself. Options trading, done the correct way, can offer many strategies and protections for investors, such as buying put options to protect someone's portfolio from any sudden market crash. It works exactly like insurance. This is the first video I've watched from this UA-camr and I don't think he knows the reason why options exist. I understand that he is most likely implying that the majority use options the wrong way and many people treat it like gambling. However, it makes no sense at all why it should not be offered so that both experienced or new investors can learn and adapt new strategies to better protect their investment. Hmmm, I'm very hesitant to listen to this guy... clearly does not do his DD.
Yes, I'd rather play the lotto or hit the slot machines.
Completely agree, it annoyed me that he put it that way.
Completely agree
Which is one is the best for buying penny stocks, with no fees, and with minimum deposit?
E-trade representatives have no clue what they're doing. They tried charging me several thousands of dollars for selling stocks that were not options. How it happened, not even they could explain. That wasn't the only mistake they made with my money. I wouldn't trust them!
Lol. Never had any problems with them
EDIT: FOR THOSE HERE AFTER THE ROBINHOOD/GAMESTOP MARKET MANIPULATION SITUATION:
1) If you're looking for a Robinhood alternative then webull is the most similar and is an option that I use: LIMITED TIME: Get 4 FREE STOCKS ON WEBULL when you deposit $100 (Up To $1400 Value):
act.webull.com/kol-us/share.html?hl=en&inviteCode=Exkhp2KUZSrd
(This is an affiliate link)
2) This video was made before the situation of course, so I will likely be making an update video this year that will be much better
3) Although Robinhood has taken the brunt of the blame, many other companies also halted or "altered" trading of these stocks. I am actively looking at companies such as Public and which will be on my update video.
Im starting now 😂

I am looking for the best for buying penny stocks, with no fees, and with minimum deposit?
At least back when I first opened my account in 2016, TD Ameritrade was a really good move for a couple of reasons; low transaction fees (now nonexistent to my knowledge), and they give you access to several country-specific stock markets, such as the UK and China. I still use them because their interface is pretty simple to use.
Thanks for sharing.. Any tips for the viewers?
@@ShaneHummus Invest in what you know, and always investigate the management decisions of a company if you plan to hand-pick your stocks. Just because a company is big doesn't mean they're financially stable. Some companies have a history of terrible quality control, like General Motors or Fiat-Chrysler, and/or build their explosive growth on a mountain of debt, like Budweiser.
Thank you for this! Small criticism: the zooming in effect you do seems like it’s out of place and doesn’t really fit well in the video. Very informative. Thanks!
Thank you for caring and extensive homework for this video!!god bless you brother
Long term 3 years or more - M1 Finance. Nothing compares for long term investing.
For day (or swing) trading stocks - TD Ameritrade, Webull, and Ally invest.
Realistically! The best brokerage is the one you have funded, ready to go at moments notice. Additionally, the brokerage you choose shouldn't lock up your purchase.
Unfortunately, almost all clearing houses had "technical" issues Friday. Which lead to them holding GME sales.
Smashed like for you again Shane. Great video! Young people should be watching this before they start investing.
Big thanks
I remember when Etrade sold my 300 shares in three seperate order, and charged me 3x the comission. I walked out with only a $2 profit 👿
Why would a company lose respect just because they’ve decided to also offer a day trading or options platform??
@@bufordthecamel6369 I agree. I sell puts many of the times and also covered calls. I don’t see how any of those would be gambling.

Idk, something tells me this guy doesn't like day-trading...With that being said, the man is discounting these brokers for being good brokers for day-trading. Not a good review.
While I agree, he's also stating that it's a high risk/high reward factor. Most people that get into day trading fail.
I really enjoy Fidelity, but I can't stand their app. Once they get that issue resolved, I will make them my permanent brokerage

I have the same situation lol except from the fact that I am 18 and I want to start investing with my father. Do you know of any good stockbrokers who can help me out?
@Caroline Linda if you are not a bot, please reply back to this comment
This didn't mention the things that matter to me such as do they allow fractional trading, automation, ect. Great video, just not enough info
I can tell you from my experience. Charles Schwab, Fidelity, Robinhood, and Interactive Brokers all allow for fractional shares. Vanguard and Ally Invest do not. But Robinhood does not allow for DRIP or Diviend Reinvestments so it's not automated in that regard. Vanguard and Ally Invest do allow for automated DRIP, and Vanguard allows for auto purchases of their mutual funds which I use frequently. Hope that helps!
Very helpful and supports my assessments on the more well known!
I don't know why more people don't show their appreciation by giving you a thumbs up. Regardless, thank you for all the information you've given.
Super helpful, I really appreciate all your research for this video!
Glad it was helpful!

Love Fidelity!
Option trading can be as risky or conservative as you want it to be. It all about managing your risk a setting appropriate risk tolerances. You don't need to "yolo" your entire account in one play, you can join theta gang and sell covered calls and sell cash secured puts to lower your cost basis on stocks you have, you can also buy itm long dated leaps aswell
Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this Felix
Ppl don't like say trading bcs it's to complicated for them 🤷🏽♂️
All day trading is using PRICE action , supply and demand, technical analysis and some common chart patterns as conformations before entering a trade to minimize risk and maximize profit
You also have to learn emotion control and you can use indicators to help with conformations
It seems like a lot but practice makes perfect as long as u stick to ur plan and set ur stop losses and practice on a paper trading account you should be good 🤷🏽♂️
do u have representation or link video

Oh. I'm 19 and I want to invest in Webull if 1400 dollars is real
What about Webull compared to Merrill Edge
Great video! Also, what would you rate Pepper Stone?
Which one do you personally recommend for Roth IRA? I'm looking into Merril Lynch because of my BOA Credit Card but I also like Vanguard, Schwabb and Fidelity
JAVIER ANDRES VELEZ-MARTINEZ the greater your investments with Merril the better your rates get with BofA. 100k gets you into the top tier.
if you want the promo for Merril Edge they give you like $500 for creating an account if you have BOA, but as for other companies you can't go wrong with those.
no idea about the BOA but my father uses Schwab Fidelity and TD for his and my mother's IRA's, he always told me Fidelity and Schwab are his two picks. Most newbies fail simply because they don't understand how the market works in general or in particular how the market relates to stock or currency pair they entering. If a retail trades doesn't grasp what the market makers are doing and when they are doing it, the greatest strategy in the world will fall. For new traders the markets are like entering an F1 race before you've passed your drivers license test. Looks like you put a lot of effort into this video - great job. I was with Morgan Stanley for a number of years and decided to make a change. I am now with Edward Jones but making the transfer was financially painful. Morgan Stanley charged me $375 (broker to broker) plus another $200 annual fee for the first 5 days of the new year. Hope this may help others when picking a new broker.
How has it been with Edward Jones?
Super helpful video thanks

Thank you for your research on brokerage firms. Smashing the "like" button. I've been experimenting with selling options (cash covered puts, some covered calls). It's going well, but I'm interested to hear your take on it.
Thanks for sharing that. Sales must be for you, good!
Ally is the worst actually, bad customer services, long execution time
Thanks for sharing your opinion Emily
It's gotten worse over time, especially 2020. Just like their APY and what not. A lot of UI issues recently due to high volume of customers. It's a hit or miss on customer service. Depends on the difficulty on your question/problem. If you can go without contacting the Customer Service, it's an overall good broker.
Ally is horrible, avoid this entire brand
TD Ameritrade has been really good for me so far. I think your ranking of B is a little low but your reasoning was perfectly sound and I don't blame you one bit.
Nah they got rid of CE stocks and non current companies. So wtf can I even buy anymore 😂
Loved Robinhood until they grouped me into the GME people and tied up my money for a month. Love that GUI though. They'll get better still a good company. They changed the game and deserve a lot for that. I left for now but still respect the company.
