Hey Jeremy, Which keyboard would suggest for music production?? Casio ctk700 vs ctk3550 vs Yamaha psr e363 I've seen your video but till in a little confusion..Hope you respond Thank you 😊😊
yeah almost like he's being unfairly biased as he used more effort and played with a sustain pedal to make it sound better.. they're all great pianos and I can't deny the Yamaha is my best pick butbhe is quite biased
Yamaha definitely has the right reverb and sustain for classical sounds. The Casio also sounded a bit too sharp on the higher notes. Especially of Gymnopedia No.1 & Claire de Lune
Yes, definitely, but i must tell, that Yamaha e-273 sounds pretty the same like their old models from the early 2000s, so it must be much the same keyboard samples and internal engine. No big improvement there, but anyway it sounds good and pleasant to hear. Casiotone sound thin in this comparison.
the reason why yamaha is the best is because it replays high quality notes from ACTUAL pianos that probably cost 200k+ which are the best of the best, and the reason why the other brands sound worse is because they try to mimic it, instead of getting the real deal.
Admittedly, I am still a beginner on keyboard, but I had both of these at home for a few weeks. The Casio had the Yamaha whipped around the block on the issue of keyboard action and the Yamaha had the Casio whipped around the block on sound and tone. Both of these instruments are fails, albeit for different reasons. I sold both of them as a lot and used the money to order a Casio CT-S1. The Casios with the AiX sound engine are the best you can get at the low-end price point. I'm calling out the industry for selling these instruments as suitable for beginners. In fact, the more advanced someone is, the more they will be able to utilize a low-cost 61-key or smaller keyboard. The Yamaha might be nice for someone who is composing songs or riffs and doesn't care so much about the action. I'm not a rank beginner, but my priority is acoustic piano emulation. A rank beginner with no musical background of any kind needs an action with some authenticity and good tone also. The industry does not produce any 61-key keyboard that is suitable for a child or youth beginner. What's good for an adult might not be so good for a kid or a teen.
I have the Yamaha. I got it for Christmas when I was 11. All I have to say is that, it doesn’t have waited keys, and it sound robotic a lot if the time. You can turn sustain on and it will just blast it to the max and it sounds messy. And the reverb doesn’t help to much. Guys, don’t be cheap and buy a 100 dollar piano. Get something a bit nicer like 300 bucks maybe?
Yamaha wins. Cosmetically tho, the Casio looks better but it has a soundboard of an older unit which unfortunately were criticized for the piano sounds.
Im ordering the Yamaha PSR E273 tomorow! Hopefully itll last haha Update: i didnt end up ordering The Yamaha PSR E273, in my country the Casio CTS300 is at the same pricepoint as said PSR E273, given that the cts300 has touch sensitivity and a slimmer form factor i ended up going for it!
Casio reminds me of my childhood when my sister had her 170 dollar Casio back in 2001. But I love the sound of Yamaha. A step above these is a Yamaha P-45.
This very "iconic" grand piano sample found on every psr series was actually being used in famous songs, one of them can be heard in the intro of That's why you go away by Michael learns to rock. It was so iconic that I actually hated it because it's virtually everywhere as Yamaha held the majority of keyboard market share in my region. That's one of the reason why I opted for the S-970 for the newer Concert Grand piano sound.
To be honest, I find it a little unfair to compare a higher-end model to a lower-range keyboard with less features. I think both sound decent at best. *EDIT:* So the Yamaha model is cheap? It looks and sounds a lot like a more-advanced model to be _that_ cheap, really, with the only thing not having touch sensitivity. Also while I'm at it, let me list off the tunes you played in the video: 0:00 Gymnopédies No.1 0:12 Minuet In G Major 0:20 Praeludium No.1 0:27 Sonata Op.27-2 "Moonlight" 1st Mov. 0:38 Clair De Lune
So the best One for me its the Casio for the weighted keys and the color Red, tho the Yamaha One has non weighted keys but has the best sound, even if i Hear some scratching on the Yamaha, tho i would recommend the casio
These keys on the Casio just LOOK like they are wheighted piano keys. The are NOT! If you want a casio with wheighted keys you need to buy a digital piano from their PRIVIA series.
Yeah heres the thing...i love ppl Hating on the Casio CT-200 but....i have this piano in real life and ive learned all my skills on there I prefer this for beginners
Yamaha can legit be for experts and newbies its prob my fav piano brand its also whatvim using currently casio on the other hand is more on oractice or maybe for kids but if ypu want to get serious in the piano world yamha is your choice good luck
Piano wise definitely Yamaha sounds way better.. but i wonder about the other sounds like Organs, Minimoogs, Harpsichords, Mellotrons.. which would be better
The Roland FP 30 is a pretty cheap one with great sound, weighted keys, and a decent pair of built in speakers if anyone is looking for a cheaper alternative
Wait all them had sustain pedal? The yamaha sounded like it had reverb turned on or the sustain pedal is pressed. While the others dont have reverb or sustain.
I've been on a little rampage recently searching keyboards. Looking to get back on the keys after almost 20 years. Yamaha have a noticeably silky tone that no other company can match. I know nothing about Keyboard engineering but i am now refusing to settle for anything that isn't Yamaha. That should say alot.

Hey Jeremy I'm in India and could you please provide the link to buy the keyboard and I hope it will help you a bit..
Can you tell us
The names of songs plz
Amazing
Casiotone: I sound pretty decent
Yamaha: Hold my keys
Self sustainable
Yamaha
Yamaha thrashes them in this one 😂😂 others sound like a toy
69 likes
I mean the yamaha one is like 80 bucks more
yeah almost like he's being unfairly biased as he used more effort and played with a sustain pedal to make it sound better.. they're all great pianos and I can't deny the Yamaha is my best pick butbhe is quite biased
keep in mind the casiotone s100 is probably the best keyboard you can get for below a hundred
@@p4tchPL It also functions as 61 key USB MIDI controller. No dynamics but still. Yamaha gives USB MIDI only in their higher range home keyboards.
Yamaha definitely has the right reverb and sustain for classical sounds. The Casio also sounded a bit too sharp on the higher notes. Especially of Gymnopedia No.1 & Claire de Lune
Yamaha one gives me goosebumps on how amazing the tone is
Yea if the yamaha keyboard is old like psr s550 they are good though and best sound keyboadd yamaha is the best company of all
Bro he has sustain on in Yamaha 🤦♂️but not in casio
You can *DEFINITELY* hear what's the best lol..
yamaha psr-e273 sounds the most releastic
Depends on what you play
A new born can tell that the Yamaha is killing it
Definitely the Yamaha sounds best.. (IMO)
Agree

My DGX 670 is even better
Definitely.
Well it's more expensive, that would be just natural
Yamaha makes real pianos.
The Yamaha has such a cool vintage sound to it
Thanks for using Moonlight Sonata and Clair de Lune. Really highlights the difference
the reason why yamaha is the best is because it replays high quality notes from ACTUAL pianos that probably cost 200k+ which are the best of the best, and the reason why the other brands sound worse is because they try to mimic it, instead of getting the real deal.
Thank you for the short comparison 🙏. They have discontinued the E273 version now. E283 have taken it's place.
Thank you for the comparison Jeremy

The Yamaha has the best sound
Yamaha is the king of low cost pianos
I have a Yamaha PSR-E363. It's slightly above $100 but sounds amazing and is portable enough.
I love the fact you started playing one of my favorites, Clair de Lune near the end. The Yamaha definitely sounded like a genuine piano.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Yamaha sounds just like an acoustic piano. Amazing.. absolutely lovely!❤
Even tho the yamahas piano sound is clearly low quality, it is quite charming..im biased from hearing it growing up but i actually love the sound haha
The second song was called Miniute in G
the sound kinda relaxing for me😌✨
Glad you think so!
Your pedal makes lot of change too
In this video yamaha is definitely sounding more descent

Painful thing here is my keyboard is lower than most of these
Very good Jeremy, keep these videos
Very obvious👍 thanks for direct comparison ❤
PSR-E273 sounds good
Im ordering the Yamaha PSR E273 tomorow! Hopefully itll last haha

Go with E373, E273 is kinda old.
I use Yamaha PSR E273 which is now discontinued in India. India has highest purchase of yamaha musical instruments
273 sounds great but it’s 190 bucks here. The only ones close to 100 is Casio CTS 100 and Yamaha PSR F52 😢
Casio reminds me of my childhood when my sister had her 170 dollar Casio back in 2001. But I love the sound of Yamaha. A step above these is a Yamaha P-45.

And the Winner is.... Whatever sounds best to you 😄
😐
(a.k.a. Yamaha)
Yes❤
This sounds like when everybody gets a participation trophy
Ima go with the Yamaha Y’all It sounds heck amazing!
To be honest, I find it a little unfair to compare a higher-end model to a lower-range keyboard with less features. I think both sound decent at best.

0:12 Minuet In G Major
0:20 Praeludium No.1
0:27 Sonata Op.27-2 "Moonlight" 1st Mov.
0:38 Clair De Lune
Can you tell me what touch sensitivity is when it comes to these keyboards? And is it important?
i checked and price difference between them is like 20-30 euro, so they are in the same category
I have a casio ctk 2550 which I just bought cause I wanted to learn the pure basics. Sounds way better than the casio keyboards shown here
same 💯
The keybaord in this vid is ablround £120 while the yamaha is like £180 so thatd be the reason
Thank you
i like how digital thr casio tone sound
Hands down Yamaha!! Holy crap!
Yamaha tone is perfect
Now I Know Why They Released CT-S 300.
There were some songs that i would prefer on the "cheap" better than the yamaha but if i had to choose i would choose the yamaha for this one
Does casio have reverb? If it has it should be activated for balanaced comparison
I would love to have a Rhodes Piano 🎹 and learn keys
Wow, they all sound so good! Struggling to pick the best one! 😂
What songs were played i loved them
No difference Just Lit bit more Reverb on Yamaha 😅
Yamaha sounds so beautiful 😍
i have a casio keyboard. Don’t really care though because i got it for 30 bucks at goodwill
Iktr ❤
Yeah heres the thing...i love ppl Hating on the Casio CT-200 but....i have this piano in real life and ive learned all my skills on there
I prefer this for beginners
Yamaha can legit be for experts and newbies its prob my fav piano brand its also whatvim using currently casio on the other hand is more on oractice or maybe for kids but if ypu want to get serious in the piano world yamha is your choice good luck
Song:gymnopedia vol.1
Você é um anjo que responde perguntas não feitas ❤
🤝💥
I like the a bit scat sounds from casio,
But yamaha sounds more dramatic.
So glad I bought a Yamaha e 383🙂↕️
Moonlight sonada😍
Not weighted so it feels trashy, just save up and invest for a good one folks. Semi weighted is great as well
Ich habe einen Yamaha ypt 410 aber das Yamaha piaggero np12 B hat mich vor einem Jahr voll umgehauen obwohl es nur ein stage piano ist
The Yamaha sounds so good, hands down.
Yamaha sound super 👍
is the e-273 a good beginner keyboard?
The yamaha sounds so great.
If you’d switched on touch response it would be much better.
Just realized the first song was the one from the credits of “My dinner with Andre”
Yamaha sounds more Classic than casio but casio its good
Piano wise definitely Yamaha sounds way better.. but i wonder about the other sounds like Organs, Minimoogs, Harpsichords, Mellotrons.. which would be better
Was the first song “once upon a time in Paris”
Songs?
Cant really say one sounds better. They have totally different voices. Sometimes u want a dry tone (casio) sometimes wet (Yamaha)
Yamaha psr e273
I have a yamaha i500 it is best for classical and thats also what i play all the time
I have a yamaha psr-e373
The Roland FP 30 is a pretty cheap one with great sound, weighted keys, and a decent pair of built in speakers if anyone is looking for a cheaper alternative
Cheaper? They’re $600+
Just bought the Yamaha today😁👍
Whats the first tune
Wait all them had sustain pedal? The yamaha sounded like it had reverb turned on or the sustain pedal is pressed. While the others dont have reverb or sustain.
I actually bought the Yamaha keyboard after seeing this video
Which one tho ?
Is the p45 still worth buying? Is it good beginners?
The keybored make it sound retro
Arigatho ❤️❤️
I'm extremely confused, can you not change the tone of the keyboards to whatever since they're all digital?
What is the second song name thank you 🥰🥰🥰
Cheap Yamahas and casios are really good overall
the cheap pianos dont sound that terrible tbh, they just sound less like an actual piano
Psr 273 is best
Is the Yamaha weighted
What’s the first song called
Gymnopedie no 1
Can you plz play the smae song on each one🙏🏻
hey whats the song called in the first one?
The fact that touch isnt even enabled in yamaha
Name of the songs please?
Is this the default sound on the Yamaha 273 I’ve seen videos and it doesn’t sound this good
Whats the name of the first song and the last one????
I've been on a little rampage recently searching keyboards. Looking to get back on the keys after almost 20 years. Yamaha have a noticeably silky tone that no other company can match. I know nothing about Keyboard engineering but i am now refusing to settle for anything that isn't Yamaha. That should say alot.
I want to like casio...but dude..i have never heard anything beat a yamaha in its price range for quality.
Me watching this video and then looking over at my kb going " o shit i have that same Yamaha kb" 😂😂😂😂😂
