We are a homeschooling family with 5 going on 6 children in inner city western Canada. God called us to be here as a light to our neighbours but it’s not without challenges. Someone else who does their quiet time in the evenings! With a toddler who is waking me far too early already, I decided to pivot and have my quiet time in the evening. Game changer! It quietens my heart before bed and gives me a chance to pray through the next day. I'm really appreciating it!
I love it too. In the early mornings my mind isn’t as ready to comprehend and process what I’m learning and children start waking up. I love evening quiet times!

I am so thankful to find your youtube page. I've just had my 5th child and I've been watching some ' day in the life' videos. They all seem to be of mummas in the kitchen cooking or doing some cleaning up but the kids are never there or involved. Even ones who say they homeschool nothing is mentioned on how they juggle cooking, cleaning, home-schooling, outings, arguments, cuddles, REAL LIFE with kids. I love your video because it shows your day with the kids too. Thank you and God bless

Sort of binge watching all of your videos now. Love them!!! ❤ I would love more videos on disciplining and child training as that is where I’ve been struggling the most. Maybe even cleaning and how to manage your home? My kids don’t like to be told what to do and therefore don’t like to do any chores we give them. Also the sibling rivalry 😭 help!!! 😩❤️

Depends on your budget, thrift stores and Temu are great low budget options. If you have a little more to spend Super Cute Nursing Dresses by Ringer and Grae Cove Linen dresses are great quality! But also, watch places like WalMart and Sams, I see dresses and skirts there often.

I guess I struggle to reconcile this part and the beginning part where it says to cover our head. I've always read it as if your hair is shaved off then cover your head with a wrap but if you have hair then that is your covering. I understood it to mean that even though you may have hair but if/when you stand up to preach/teach/prophesy etc then you should wear a head covering even if you have hair as you are taking the place of your husband or representing your husband and by wearing a wrap you show that you have one in authority over you, which is your husband.

I’m so sorry! I will work on Slovakian subtitles if it’s possible. Ask the Lord for wisdom, be loving but firm with your children. They need consequences for wrong behavior and reward and encouragement for right behavior. And it takes time, don’t grow weary in doing good! ❤️

Where in Tennessee are you located? Is the land expensive? I would like to buy 100 acres for me and my 4 children (my husband passed away) and start an animal sanctuary. Can your husband help with finding this land? Are you close to North Carolina? Would land in NC be less expensive?
It depends where you look. If you look around Athens or Telico Plains you can find some good prices. North Carolina has some nice parts as well. Depends on what you are looking for.
The dumbest thing humanity ever did was send their women to work 😢 How do these things get done in a modern home? They just don’t - no home made meals, no food from the garden, no clean sheets weekly, no daily bathroom cleanup, no focused time with our children… Our homes are simply neglected and thus our stability in the home and in society was burned the day we burned the bras 😩😩😩

@@Abiding_Home Thanks so much. I read your blog post. I also thought of that but then at the end of says we are given our hair as a covering. I guess I struggle to reconcile this part and the beginning part where it says to cover our head. I've always read it as if your hair is shaved off then cover your head with a wrap but if you have hair then that is your covering. I understood it to mean that even though you may have hair but if/when you stand up to preach/teach/prophesy etc then you should wear a head covering even if you have hair as you are taking the place of your husband or representing your husband and by wearing a wrap you show that you have one in authority over you, which is your husband.

I’m so sorry! I will work on Slovakian subtitles if it’s possible. Ask the Lord for wisdom, be loving but firm with your children. They need consequences for wrong behavior and reward and encouragement for right behavior. And it takes time, don’t grow weary in doing good! ❤️

It depends where you look. If you look around Athens or Telico Plains you can find some good prices. North Carolina has some nice parts as well. Depends on what you are looking for.
