      lyrics wise I mostly like the second version better, but can’t help feel “mucho más allá” sounds better than “y a lo oculto voy”.
      But like my own language also has kind of a long ending sentence, would be something like “hacia a tierra desconocida”, so I’m one to talk 😂

    This part is really impressive in all languages! :D
    And I guess sometimes the lyrics don't help to sing so high. For example, for my French version, the sound "on" of "monde" is very difficult to sing high. But I much prefer "Dans un Autre Monde / In Another World" than the ridiculous "Un Jardin Secret / A Secret Garden", an alternative version found in some dolls. x)

    Actually, in Greek the
    "Στ' άγνωστο να 'ρθω" phrase (for whoever is learning greek and gets confused; "Στο άγνωστο να έρθω" without the apostrophes) is translated in English as "I'll come into the unknown". It's not your fault!! I'm Greek, so obviously, I know the translation. Thanks for putting the greek versions in your videos, you've just gained a new subscriber!!

    9:31 I find it interesting that in Serbocroatian languages, meni is dative "me" but in Turkish, beni is accusative me.
    It's kind of a "false friend", especially since ben comes from the Turkic word men.

    As a learner of Korean and Thai, the translations are great and very simple but you did forget to put n in "Dindaen thi(n) mai ru" but no biggy plus not putting the tone marks in Thai romanization is okay since it isn't that much followed anyway. Great video✊

      Because before that version will be the oficcial, but when Spain and Latin America decided to use the same end credits version of Into the unknown Latin America don't want to confuse people with one lyrics different in the movie version and end credits version and then they decided to use the same lyrics that Spain do . I hope you understand my comment

    • @ismaelmoraes9716
      @ismaelmoraes9716 3 роки тому +10

      Hi, I'm Brazilian! I will try to explain quickly. Brazilian Portuguese is not exactly Portuguese in Portugal for some reasons: the indigenous peoples who inhabit the lands where Brazil is today had hundreds of different languages. In AD 1500, the Portuguese invaded to steal gold and wood originating in Brazil, but for this they brought slaves from different countries on the African continent and stayed centuries in the territory. Over time, the languages of African, indigenous and Portuguese slaves merged into Brazilian Portuguese. Throughout the history of Brazil, other peoples try to colonize or refugees have come to Brazil to live like: Dutch, Italians, Japanese, Germans. As a result, several words from these countries were introduced in Brazilian Portuguese, further differentiating the Portuguese spoken in Brazil from Portuguese in Portugal and other Portuguese-speaking countries. In addition, the way of speaking and the meanings of some words have differences between Brazilian Portuguese and Portuguese. Since 2016 in Brazil, Portugal and other English-speaking countries, it is mandatory for the population to obey the orthographic agreement that tries to standardize Portuguese in formal written form, while in spoken form, Portuguese is not mandatory to obey the orthographic agreement.
