hi my loves! I have linked resources in the description box to places where you can support the AAPI community, donate, and educate yourself about anti-asian violence. this issue has been occurring LONG before most of us were even born, but it has been brought to light again due to recent events. let us be the generation to stop tragedies like this from happening again for ALL communities. Hate has NO home here. I love you all ❤
The attack is absolutely relevant to your recovery. Environmental factors can 100% stay on the mind and cause stress and anxiety which can contribute to your mental block around pointe. I know I'll never be on pointe as I can't afford consistent ballet classes, but watching this and your journey is so inspiring and wonderful to watch!!!! You're so strong and a beautiful dancer!!!!
Thank you so much Lucy! You are so sweet ❤ I feel like I'm starting all over on pointe again. I used to have a major fear of turning on pointe when I started and it took a while to get over, and now I'm back to square one haha. But I'm working through it!
@@RiannaTalento You're seriously amazing!!!! Do you have any tips or recommendations for getting basic technique at home? I'm trying to improve my turnout and strength before I hopefully get into the drama school I want to, but I'm only 20 and have got super stiff hips but flexible legs hahaha
I loved the Bailey reference but then you mentioned the attacks on the AAPI community, this tears me up inside. So many people who I love dearly happen to be Asian. Life wasn’t meant to be this way and we must never stop working for change.
Thank you so much for your support, it truly touches my heart. It’s crazy how long this has been going on and little has changed. I hope we can see real positive change for ALL communities during our lifetimes! ❤️❤️
i love your channel and your videos! it’s so nice to see asian community representation and the talk about how we should act as humans. i love watching you and i love your videos thank you for posting and never stop!!
I've also gone back en pointe for the first time in a while after injuring my ankle last year. And then not having access to a studio because of covid. It was extremely difficult to get over the mental barrier I had formed. This is so inspirational!
Aw I’m so glad we are going through this together 🥺❤️ I am also so proud of you for going back on pointe after an injury! It truly takes a lot of courage and mental strength especially during our circumstances right now. YOU inspire me!
You go Rianna! I am for what you stand for and love how your channel is accepting of everyone ❤️ love seeing your recovery videos but also miss seeing your buns!!
Thank you SO much for your support Shaina ❤ I want everyone to feel comfortable and safe here always. I'm also so sorry I haven't shown my buns in my vids recently! I didn't even realize it had been so long and I miss having them in my videos too. I'll def keep that in mind for my next vids hehe 🐰
I have been working out regularly and practicing dance at the same time, feeling well and positive and happy about my lifestyle. Im so so happy that you are back on pointe stronger than everrr!! ❤❤🥺 im so happy to be on this journey with you🥰🥺❤❤
I’m SO proud of you! It makes me so happy every week seeing your comments and updating me on your mission: ri-set. I’m so glad that you are seeing positive change in your lifestyle, thank you for going on this journey with me love! ❤️
@@RiannaTalento im so happy for both of us and this decision to start working on myself to be better was the best decision ever , lets keep going to be the best of ourselfs! Love you❤❤
Triggering Topic Warning! I don't want to ruin anyone's Easter (or day) but I really need to rant here. First off, let me just say I love my parents to death. That does necessarily mean I believe in everything they believe in. To the very few people reading this, you may need to be caught up. Basically, my parents don't support the lgbtq+ community. They don't support it but they aren't going to treat anyone differently. WHICH IS A LOT BETTER THAN TREATING THEM DIFFERENTLY IN MY OPINION!! They are very religious, as am I. But I personally do support any community, black lives matter, Asian lives matter, etc. Now, I don't just support these communities because it's "trendy" (When I say trendy I mean the fact that it's everywhere, not meant to be offensive!) I truly believe everyone is equal no matter if they love men, women, both, no one, etc. Same with if they are white, black, Hispanic, Asian, Philipino, etc. What I'm trying to say is I fully support it but my parents don't. This is very difficult for me because when I talk to my parents respectfully about these topics, I don't want to say something to trigger them. They are open to learning more about everything but I feel like it just goes in one ear and out the other. I don't know, it's just hard. Love is love. ANOTHER TOPIC! We were watching the Grammy's (again) and Harry Styles (aka my idol for 8 years) was being himself and just having fun. My mom started to talk about how she didn't find him attractive. She is welcome to have her own opinion and I respect that 100%. She kept saying more offensive things and I obviously got a little mad. I started showing her all the amazing things he has done and the amazing outfits he has put together. I showed her the Vogue photoshoot he did. (If you don't know what I'm talking about he did a photoshoot for the Vouge magazine cover and in that image he was wearing a dress) She was absolutely appalled that he was wearing a dress. She said, "it is not manly to wear a dress! Those clothes are for girls!" At this point, I was at a loss for words. I had no idea what to say so this is mainly why I'm ranting. Please listen, clothes are clothes. If you feel good about what you are wearing, don't let ANYONE tell you differently. The world we live in is scary. But there are many, many more things society should be worried about. They shouldn't take the time to criticize someone for wearing something they like and feel comfortable in. It just amazes me that there are these sick and twisted people in this world who will not like a person just based on who they love or what they're wearing. Disgusting. If you don't agree with what I'm saying, take a second and think. If you had met a complete stranger and absolutely LOVED them, would you treat them differently if you knew they were gay, straight, bi, pan, etc? I'm not trying to make you believe in this and you are totally open to your own opinion. But please, please just think before you speak and act. This goes for everyone. Every single person in the world can be just a little nicer to others or themselves. Don't treat anyone differently, we are equal. Please reply with your own opinions on these topics. I would love to educate myself on other perspectives!
