How about a report by time frame of the number of persons trained under this fund, for what trade or positions and are they gainfully employed
The city had a revaluation which increased taxes with subsequent increases in the years following the revaluation...for what??? I can't tell...reduced police responses ...hours after the fact, schools failing, but sucking up of resources by charters etc with city services....increases in taxes for what? There needs to be a moratorium on abatements and property abatements made to residents for the next 20 years and have corporations pick up the slack....particularly since most have benefitted from abatements for eons!!

And the 22 million shortfall is also due in large part to the 20, 25 and 30 year tax abatements and hence the increase in property taxes. Why are tax payng residents footing the bill for the benefit of developers and corporations who do not contribute to rateables for the City of Newark??? Make it make sense because as it stand it is not a benefit to the city or residents. Sick of this nonsense. Taxation without representation of residents is tyranny..aside from slavery... isn't that how the US came into being? There needs to be a citizens tax revolt!!!!
