I have recommended your channel to SOOO many departments in my org. Your explainations and walk through are wonderful. I can tell , you really enjoy what you do. Appreciate your videos so much to assist in my success within my org.
Thank you so much! I really enjoy what I do and I'm happy to hear that you find value in these videos. I truly appreciate you sharing them with your colleagues, it means a lot to me! If you ever have any questions, feel free to ask!
Been trying to implement this with our small marketing team so this has been super helpful. After reading Measure What Matters I knew Asana was the tool for our team. Thanks!
I have watched a handful of your videos and you have done an excellent job demonstrating what I needed to understand and fully adopt Asana. Something just clicked a few weeks ago and now that I have focused on seriously getting organized your videos have provided the last points of understanding for me to use with intention and efficiency. I look forward to learning more from you!
Thanks so much! Glad you're finding my content helpful! You should join the System Builders Academy for more training and learning resources. www.systembuilderacademy.com/
This was SUPER helpful! Thank you. Do you have a video on how to set up those saved searches on the sidebar, especially the ones specifically for messages sent and messages received ?
Marquis, great video. 2 Follow Up Q's for you 1. is there a way to get the goal you set for a "Team" in Asana to show up in Team Page in Asana. Right now it only shows up when I am in the goal section and you click on "Team Goals". Would be great if that could show up in the "Team" section, I figured out how to link it to a project. 2. You have a button for "Supporting Work". That does not appear in our Asana Goals section when we create goals. We pay for a business account (so one step below Enterprise). How do you get that Supporting Work feature to link tasks, etc.?
Hi Andrew, great questions. 1. No, not yet. That’s a great suggestion! Would be nice to see those goals in multiple places. 2. Here is an update video on goals. Skip to 1:04 to see how Asana has updated the goals module and removed the “supporting work” button from goal creation. ua-cam.com/video/q80RcHlZMUs/v-deo.html

Hi Marquis, Thank you so much for your video. It was helpful. We owned the business version since November 2022 But I´m surprised because we can´t fill in the mission from our comapny. This button is not here. Do you know why? Is this button not longer available or what is the reason? In our case it will be very useful to notive our mission in Asana. So maybe you can help us :) Greetings Marlena
Hey Marlena, did you figure it out yet? It's still there and shouldn't have moved. Are you an administrator of your Asana? It's likely only an Admin function.
These are terrible examples but I guess it shows how it works anyway. What I mean is that all of your sub-goals are actually just work items, they're not goals per se. The whole idea of goals, as shown by the available metrics types, is that they can be measured and fed from different projects. Like a $ amount or a # of stores. Here your subgoals are just basically "done" or "not done". This is a milestone, not a goal. It's important because with your example, subgoals serve no better purpose than milestones. You could have used "# of locations secured", or something like that that really make sense over several projects

This video was extremely helpful! Thank you for taking the time to post.
You’re very welcome. Glad you found it helpful!
Amazing work, I love it when you share your knowledge on this!
Glad you enjoy it!
Great work as usual Marquis, thanks for the video. 🙏
Thank you, friend!
Hi! Thank you for these! Do you have any information/example templates on ways to measure different kinds of KPIs in Asana?
I have different videos on how to setup reporting in Asana. Is that what you mean? Are there specific KPIs you want to measure?
This was SUPER helpful! Thank you. Do you have a video on how to set up those saved searches on the sidebar, especially the ones specifically for messages sent and messages received ?
Coming soon! I've had a couple of other requests for this and will make a video.
Super helpful. Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
can you add goals to the team home screen rather than always accessing it through the goals menu on the left?
You sure can! You can now add it to the project itself in the Overview tab. That way the project is connected to the goal.
hahaha literally what I was searching for and you come up!!
Love it! Right place at the right time.

My asana under goals does not show supporting work to link projects. How do I get it to show on my asana?
