I’ve had Ipsy for a couple of years now, I feel like their “upgrades” are just another way to try to sell leftover samples/products 🤔 So I’m not surprised that the ultimate is underwhelming, it’s just more samples for a higher price 🤷🏻♀️

Majickk some months are better than others, there’s definitely been a change, but it does vary from month to month. Maybe it’s also the amount of brands that want to be featured or in wanting to get more product they’ve gone to smaller cosmetic line, which sadly end up being not so great. But overall I think they’re still one of the better subscriptions (doesn’t mean they’re amazing), but if they keep raising their price and quality stays the same or gets worse, they won’t be worth it anymore.

The $2 sheet masks are "full size" and the c'EST moi lip gloss was also "full size" in theory if you count those brushes as $50 (🙄) and the betty boop collab as $28 then the "value" is technically there. And the cancel button was definitely there after I got the reveal for the box.
Same here. I canceled as soon as I saw my reveal. The funny thing is when I tried to cancel via the site, the membership remained active. I had to send an email to support to cancel, which they did. So disappointed and I feel ripped off
I canceled once I got my box in the mail and the two products I was excited for (the huda beauty topaz palette and the murad aha cleanser) were not there, even though they showed up in my preview and it still says on the website I was supposed to receive them. The murad product was the one I CHOSE and they didn’t even give it to me

Well I think they might have meant skin that's young. And the skin on our lips is constantly revealing new layers because it's one of the thinner layers of skin on our body. Poor execution 😅 it does look like a kids lipgloss anyway.

So the lip gloss packaging reminded me of a yeast infection medication advertisement and I'm not sure I would personally feel comfortable putting it on my lips. Now that I got all that negativity out, I'm happy to see you back and I really hope they fix your situation very soon. We've missed your videos.

I got the exact same Ultimate as you but with Murad cleanser instead of Farmacy. Edit: That cheap lipgloss is going to my 8 yo. They get one more chance to impress me. That’s it.
I got the same with Murad, too. Not impressed. I'm cancelling the Ultimate and Regular and keeping Plus only. They repeat/duplicate too often that there is no benefit to subscribe to multiple bags from Ipsy.
I'm really surprised that they haven't figured out a way for you to still monetize your new uploads but for them to hold the funds until everything's fixed or link it to a new account.... It's not like this is the first time this has ever happened. 🤔
If you want to help you could always tweet @ youtube and @ youtube support and try to get her issue noticed. The more people who make a deal of it the more likely they are to take action. It could make them look bad and possibly go viral in the media. So.. just an idea.

Meh, the ultimate box seems kinda blah for the price. I'd expect to see benefit, lorac, Sunday Riley, smashbox, lime crime and more luxury or way better indie brands and nice quality brushes. I agree, the plus one was better. Also, I hope you're situation regarding your funds has been handled the way it should of been in the first place. How you were treated and how they handled it in the beginning was atrocious.

As for Ultimate, I do find it interesting that the first box was less than sparkling, but I seem to recall that Plus had similar issues when launching. Plus I picked the Farmacy, so it meant that I was paying 16 bucks for everything else, so still a good deal. Even with the Farah brushes......

Yayyyyyyy I’m so happy you are back, I missed your pretty face so much ❤️ if you signed up for your ultimate with the same account as your plus, you weren’t supposed to get duplicate products, you should have received the Betty Boole eye shadow pallet in one and the cheek pallet In another, so I would contact Ipsy so you can get your eye shadow pallet! I do not think the “ultimate” is worth it you could get 10 full size products for the same price if you got two pluses, you would just run the risk of multiples but it looks like that’s a problem anyway lol🙈 so happy you are back hun🥰

On the ends of the aluminum foil box (Saran wrap, too), there are perforated holes that you punch in. The punched in part goes inside the roll, thus keeping it secured inside the box so it doesn’t fall out!

It's so great to see you posting again. I hope they get your account straightened out because I absolutely love watching your videos. I received duplicate items in last month and this month. Customer service has been awful. They gave me a small refund last month and assured me I would not get duplicate items if I was receiving all 3 subscriptions. So they lied again. After contacting customer service for the 15th time in 2 months they again offered a small refund and apologized. I finally decided to cancel all 3. I saw some Nov. spoilers and I am not impressed so far, so no FOMO yet. Plus all 3 subscriptions are expensive. I always thought if I canceled all of my subscriptions I would keep Ipsy regardless. Obviously I was wrong 🙄

Biggest red flag wasn't what was in the "ultimate" box. It was the fact that they didn't *list the prices*. I don't get any of these boxes/bags anymore but when I did I wouldn't just take their word on the price points. I would Google everything. Some of the prices for brands I've never heard of (and some I do know of) are SO off the charts. So glad you're back though. Still upset that they haven't fixed your problem!! I really hope it gets worked out sooner rather than later... 💜

I used to be subscribed to Ipsy , but had to cancel About 6 m back . Seeing all these videos makes me not regret canceling. Ipsy used to be bomb but it started going downhill about a year ago and seems like they are still full steam ahead on the downhill slope. Thank you for doing these and taking one for the team lol 😘

I had something similar happen to me with a subscription box, luxury scent box. I kept getting an email saying I needed to update my payment method, that my payment had been declined. I knew that wasn't right and when you clicked on the link it took you to a website that looked like an exact copy of luxury scent box. The thing about it is, how would a hacker know that I was subscribed to luxury scent box? I cancelled the subscription and emailed them. Something was not right! Their website must have been compromised for hackers to go in and get email addresses of subscribers. I dont understand thieves. It makes me worry with everything being online these days. I'm just glad I recognized the problem right away and didn't have my info stolen.

Meh, the ultimate box seems kinda blah for the price. I'd expect to see benefit, lorac, Sunday Riley, smashbox, lime crime and more luxury or way better indie brands and nice quality brushes. I agree, the plus one was better. Also, I hope you're situation regarding your funds has been handled the way it should of been in the first place. How you were treated and how they handled it in the beginning was atrocious.

As for Ultimate, I do find it interesting that the first box was less than sparkling, but I seem to recall that Plus had similar issues when launching. Plus I picked the Farmacy, so it meant that I was paying 16 bucks for everything else, so still a good deal. Even with the Farah brushes......

I love my Ipsy glam plus. Everything I got in my box was right on point with what I wanted. No complaints here at all.
That's exactly what I have. I was thinking about switching to the biggest box instead, but I'm glad that I didn't after watching a lot of reviews and reading comments on here

Yayyyyyyy I’m so happy you are back, I missed your pretty face so much ❤️ if you signed up for your ultimate with the same account as your plus, you weren’t supposed to get duplicate products, you should have received the Betty Boole eye shadow pallet in one and the cheek pallet In another, so I would contact Ipsy so you can get your eye shadow pallet! I do not think the “ultimate” is worth it you could get 10 full size products for the same price if you got two pluses, you would just run the risk of multiples but it looks like that’s a problem anyway lol🙈 so happy you are back hun🥰

So I have a LIFE HACK for you!! On the ends of the aluminum foil box (Saran wrap, too), there are perforated holes that you punch in. The punched in part goes inside the roll, thus keeping it secured inside the box so it doesn’t fall out!

It's so great to see you posting again. I hope they get your account straightened out because I absolutely love watching your videos. I received duplicate items in last month and this month. Customer service has been awful. They gave me a small refund last month and assured me I would not get duplicate items if I was receiving all 3 subscriptions. So they lied again. After contacting customer service for the 15th time in 2 months they again offered a small refund and apologized. I finally decided to cancel all 3. I saw some Nov. spoilers and I am not impressed so far, so no FOMO yet. Plus all 3 subscriptions are expensive. I always thought if I canceled all of my subscriptions I would keep Ipsy regardless. Obviously I was wrong 🙄

Biggest red flag wasn't what was in the "ultimate" box. It was the fact that they didn't *list the prices*. I don't get any of these boxes/bags anymore but when I did I wouldn't just take their word on the price points. I would Google everything. Some of the prices for brands I've never heard of (and some I do know of) are SO off the charts. So glad you're back though. Still upset that they haven't fixed your problem!! I really hope it gets worked out sooner rather than later... 💜

I used to be subscribed to Ipsy , but had to cancel About 6 m back . Seeing all these videos makes me not regret canceling. Ipsy used to be bomb but it started going downhill about a year ago and seems like they are still full steam ahead on the downhill slope. Thank you for doing these and taking one for the team lol 😘

So happy to see you post a video! Have been so worried! Glad that something is being done to make it right for your channel! I had something similar happen to me with a subscription box, luxury scent box. I kept getting an email saying I needed to update my payment method, that my payment had been declined. I knew that wasn't right and when you clicked on the link it took you to a website that looked like an exact copy of luxury scent box. The thing about it is, how would a hacker know that I was subscribed to luxury scent box? I cancelled the subscription and emailed them. Something was not right! Their website must have been compromised for hackers to go in and get email addresses of subscribers. I dont understand thieves. It makes me worry with everything being online these days. I'm just glad I recognized the problem right away and didn't have my info stolen.
