When Arnold gives him a hard time in Pumping iron about not getting the timing right, he's not just saying that to throw him off, he's actually correct. Lou had a lot of water weight that he needed to get rid of to have the cuts that arnold and Serj both came with
I'm talking about later on in his career. I know that Hollywood pulled him off from competing. If you watch Lou throughout the years after Pumping Iron and eventhough he wasn't competing anymore he continually kept getting better and better. Even Arnold said in 1977, Lou has better genetics than him and wishes he has his genes.
Arnold has the right technique to hold the weight thats why he won because of more clarity in muscle. Where as Ferrigno focuses on increasing mass not the clarity of muscle, in his exercise it clearly shows he lacks the proper technique of holding weight. So Arnold won without any doubt.
