Thank you for your testimony. I took Jesus as my Lord at an early age and I don't have that kind of testimony. But, I wouldn't miss the opportunity to know and be known by Him even though it is often hard. Besides, as you point out, going our own way isn't likely to be better.

I find the last verse of John to be validating of the other 3 gospels. To say that none is better than the other, but between them all, here's the truth about Jesus, and yes, He continues to work.
You are soooooooooooooooooooo awesome! I just love you!!!! You're my first stop when I need to study for small group Bible study or Bible study after service (yes two! And I adore them). Because you break things down so beautifully and help me understand, I too can help others understand as well during our discussions. The ripples on the water travel far!!

The verse Matthew 10:33 shook me. I was made confused before on who Jesus was with Mary in the picture (RRC teaching in my country got me, a lukewarm believer, confused on who was more important) and even made my own belief system to get around it.
And like Peter, The Lord has restored me. 😭

Due to a bit of a bit of challenges in the past several months from the "what about them" and "how much longer" thoughts. I googled John 21 21 and was brought to this video. Fortunately I listened to the whole video. I have learned much from your teaching today and from your communication style and look forward to studying more from you. Thank you.

1.Learning from Peter we can't hide from God and we don't have to because God forgives our failure's. May our love for God be "Agapi" Love.

The number of fish is significant because it authenticates the narrative. Not just lots of fish or 100's but 153, meaning someone counted them and reported the number.

You have such a teaching gift brother. God has used you in my husband's life and mine to understand the Word line by line. Thank you so much for answering that call in your life. Thank you also for your explanation here of the restoration of Peter. You explained the first two q's and a's words for love, but what were the words used the 3rd time in the Greek for love recorded in v 17? Thank you for the context in understanding this exchange. I am so excited to share what the Lord taught me through the reading of this week's text and hearing this sermon. Praying we can make it to Ontario to hear you preach very soon.
