I think you are making great progress! Glad to see you wearing a helmet 👍I have a couple of things I noticed. It's a bit of personal preference maybe but it might be worth trying out. I really dislike the feeling of standing on top of or behind my back truck, for downhill especially but I don't love it for freeride/stand ups either. Try shifting your stance forward so that the pinky of your front foot is on top if or close to your front bolts and then sort of see where your back foot ends up standing roughly shoulder width. Mess around with your stance I guess is what I'm saying, try a few things :) The second thing which is less personal preference is try to plant your back heel on the board when turning heelside, it will help your form a lot. Someone mentioned it already but that will help with folding your back knee towards your front foot which in turn will help with shifting your balance forward for easier slides, it was already looking really promising when you were carving gloves down. Try finding a wider hill to have some more space or try finding a corner to try predrifts. It is really quite difficult to do a glove down speed check on a straight hill in my opinion. Check out a tutorial on both heelside and toeside pendys or pendulum slides. That requires some more speed but is way easier on straight. Also dont be afraid to shift your wheels. I think you might have an easier time learning on the wheels from your comet assuming they are powell peralta snakes. You can also flip those around as they start to wear down to make them feel pretty much the same all the way to the core. And I think the stims are gonna fit great on the the comet. Over and out!
It feels more stable that way so I do it naturally when footbreaking from speed! It's more fun in the sense I feel safer going faster, though it isn't as carvey and bouncy as the Comet

I still wonder how you can footbreak with your foot so far back! Skills!!! How do you rate the fun factor compared with the comet?
