glue some cut up bits of anti-slip mat to the base of Your obstacles to keep them from wandering off, a fairly large mat is super cheap and works really well.
That's a bummer. If my intel is correct, the guy who runs it is in the military and is currently being moved. Last I heard, he had run through a bunch of his inventory, and plans to be back in a few months. Hopefully that's still the case.
