I play this game on release and i think that the original character looks so much better. The bik video for the character in shc2 is also quite stiff(the animation). Also the original character castle have more unique features and personality for example the Wazir star fort, or Frederick triangle castle, or Nizar island. In shc 2, most of the characters castle are just an extensiion of square shape
@@toxicelamain2494 It isn't meh to me. Stronghold Crusader 2 got coop within borders of one's castle which is absolutely out of this world and no other RTS will take it from this game. It's so much fun when you invade, attacking hordes of enemies on the way, while your friend defends your castle while you do so. Your friends does economy, while you do military actions. This game would have been 10/10 if there was main campaign possible in coop.

It is random...can be always a bit different. Depends on things like resources, map size and many other things. As far as I know you can't select how big will be the castle of AI. However this is pretty interesting, it would be something like other difficulty of siege, because you would select small, medium or big castle for each lord. Right now, no it is impossible, but who knows, SC2 is in Steam Workshop, maybe later, adjustments in the game like this would be available. Not for now though...
In first Stronghold Crusader was The Wolf and Saladin pretty same in difficulty. Here in SC2 is The Wolf stronger than Saladin, which makes him the strongest AI in this game. However, depends on situation...it can be a bit different in every other mission.
All castles designs are so boring, lazy and almost idential for every Lord. All square/round ones with lots of towers all around. Zero imagination, zero uniqueness. Only exception is the Slave King which has a cool and unique design even compared to the Stronghold crusader 1 standards. Overall a HUGE disappointment of a game even under this regard.

Just completed that 50mission crusade today. No worries except mission 41 holy crap.

The buildings has no connection to the wall, like in Crusader1. All huts look the same.
Its a huge flaws to me. Castle looks artificial.
This game surely is nothing compared to the original 2002 Crusader.

i think the ai cheats in this game. i would siege them and cut them off from all sources of income just for them to have a nonstop gold income.
