The materials required to produce the devices that create green energy in any form require massive amounts of fossil fuel. The machines required to dig up these materials ONLY run on fossil fuel. Hey, maybe that'll change eventually, but for at least the next several decades that's the technology we have available. You climate activists always end up coming after poor people who have to use fossil fuels everyday to survive. Rather than the speakers at these climate events who fly around in private jets that produce one year's worth of a car's emissions in a single trip across the country. Our sorry attempts at stopping emissions and eliminating fossil fuel could prove to be completely in vain because the earth occasionally shifts on its axis causing climate change that we have absolutely no control over (ever heard of the ice age?) you would have no ability to stop it on a global scale whether the earth wants to make itself so hot we all burn to death or so cold that we'll be found 1000 years later encased in a block of ice. Point is, the earth is far more powerful than us as a species and it is both arrogant and narcissistic to think that we as humans can at this time technologically save or destroy the planet.
