A few other useful features would probably by setting gamevisual to sRGB mode, since it also lowers the brightness and image intensity, so you're going to put less strain on your eyes. I would choose the Y25-30 over the VG249Q. The lenovo monitor has a higher refresh rate at 280hz compared to the Asus Monitor and its bigger in size too. Both panels are ips displays which are both good but the asus is smaller than the lenovo, its really preference. do you prefer a 24.5 inch monitor or a 23.8 inch asus monitor?

@@Massa2034 I found others with the same issue I had. I think the issue is really bad for this model. I had since sent mine for RMA to ASUS. They replaced it with a newer model (VG249Q3A) since the old one was no longer in stock. I really do hope the newer model doesn't experience any issues.
When i go into my settings, all of the settings are grayed out except for brightness, input select, language, power key lock, key lock, power setting, osd setup information and the all reset i dont know what i am doing wrong. I have it set into hdmi into my PS5

I love this monitor for the price but depends where you will sit. I reccomend a vesa arm mount for the desk to help you adjust its position to what works best.

The speakers are trash. They are very hollow. If you’re getting this for gaming just use headphone and keep the speakers on mute. If you’re getting this to watch media content then even cheap computer speakers that plug into the headphone jack will sound 1000x better than the monitors

hi! just figured id let you know, in most cases overclocking isnt covererd in the warranty, if overclocking damadges the product some companys are okay with refunds as-long as you bought it whithin the past 90 days, but if i were you personaly i whouldnt risk it.
Hello! i have this monitor and tried overclocking it to 165hz, when i do it the main monitor in the settings becomes my second monitor and i cannot move my mouse through screens,is this a common problem?
I am using the Asus Rog Ally with this Monitor. Its connected via Hdmi and the official Rog Gaming charger dock. The problem i have is, that in AMD Adrenalin Software the Freesync is not supported. Someone know i can solve this? Freesync on the monitor is on.
What’s your gpu? If it’s even remotely decent then this shouldn’t be an issue for heating. If it is then you need to look into how you’re cooling your system and what kind of ventilation your case is providing. 120hz at 1080p shouldn’t be an issue.
That’s incorrect info. Make sure you’re not in power saver mode. If you are then get out. You ps5 can only go up to 120hz so go into your video settings on the ps5 and make sure you are picking the appropriate output options. If you have it at 1080p you should be able to get 120hz. If you’re picking one of the ps5 HD options then those will lower you to 60.
when i mount vesa the back of the monitor is curved forward the bottom holes are ok but the upper ones i had gap and i needed to press when screwing the screws is that normal i didn't have any spacers
It’s just an unfortunate part of the design. Mine is the same. Just don’t over tighten. It’s a light monitor and the mount will hold fine. Get them snug but then stop.
The GTG response time is but that’s just a selling point for people who just see the number. Its MPRT is closer to 4-5 ms I believe. Which is a better metric for actual gameplay.
Just turn down overdrive and turn off elmb or freesync. Also your maximum refresh/resolution on console is 120 at 1080p so the 144hz or even overclocked 165 are not even possible on console and require a PC and display port.

Are you in power saving mode? If you are then turn that off. If you’re not then are you playing on a console or PC? And if you’re on PC are you using display port? If you’re on console then your max is 120hz so you can’t overlock at all. And if you’re on PC but using hdmi then you’ll be capped at 144 and once again can’t overlock.

I wasn't able to try that, but in my experience, DP to HDMI cables will usually only work at 144Hz, because that's a limitation on the HDMI side.

The height on the stand is not adjustable, you cannot raise or lower it, nor can you tilt it
