Thank you so much for this beautiful video. I've watched it over and over again. My Grandfather was from Buncrana and my dad Henry McLaughlin spent most of his youth there. He sadly passed away when i was very young, i will never forget all the stories he told me about Buncrana. Perhaps the happiest times of his life. Before he died i promised him that i would visit Buncrana. I hope to do so , especially finding out that the McLaughlin Motto is Never Forget Your Promise. Thanks again God Bless .🙏
Ì had a cassette of this I brought back from Ireland. Somebody borrowed it but didn't return it so I've been searching for years to replace it. This really made my day. Thank you.
Beautiful scenery. What a great speaking voice and wonderful music. I have travelled the whole of Ireland but Donegal has it all and Inishowen is the most spectacular part of it. Will watch it again. Thank you.
Great video and good history about Inishowen. my mother’s family are from Bunn, Glengad. The Lafferty’s. I know the face of the man repairing the fishing nets but can’t name him. Thanks for a fantastic video with great music as well 👍

We made this film 25 years ago from Roy's cd at the time. Perhaps if you Google Roy Arbuckle you might find how to obtain a copy. The other way is to copy it onto.a memory stick.from the video.
He was a gentleman that was sitting on a bench by the sea in Buncrana. We asked could we film him he just nodded. He looked like an interesting character but we never found out his name
I lived in buncrana but left in the ,60,s.l remember this genteman,he was a school teacher at the protestant school and lived by himself on the corner of church st and St .Orans rd .l,ve since forgotten his name.He was very quiet and kept to himself.
