Honestly you can’t go wrong with any of his stuff, but his back to back run of Madvillainy with Madlib, MM Food.. produced by himself, and The Mouse and the Mask produced by Danger Mouse is probably the best place to start

It's like that for a lot of cats as I basically didn't listen to any new music between 2012 and the last couple of years... I'd heard of MF DOOM, but once again we never got on the same page until now!!!! I have a lot of catching up to do.

The Large Hadron Collider is a huge loop essentially where they shoot particles at each other really fast to see what happens. It's come under a lot of scrutiny because we really don't know what happens at the atomic level except that its gives enough energy for nuclear power/solar power. The line in particular is in reference to the fact that the building was being constructed from 1998-2008 a ten year process. Similarly, DOOM's previous album was 4 years earlier in 2005. Both late to the date to ensure quality. Funnily enough the first collisions at the LHC would happen in 2010, a year after this album came out

Great reaction, but pretty misinformed take on the Hadron Collider. It kinda sounds like you were led astray by some pretty sketchy/conspiratorial sources. It’s a well-documented, international research facility (Switzerland). They’ve done some amazing research that has advanced physics pretty significantly
