    I shot a 81 today because of you, Jimmy… That’s the best I’ve ever played in my life just to think I’m two strokes away from breaking 80 and into the 70s thank you so much my friend… I ordered your 69° wedge and your driver!!

    Love your videos. Looks like you’re rocking a single plane swing or very close to it. Am I correct or do I need to see the eye doc?

    I’m another who shot 81 today, which is ok off a 15 handicap. Thanks to your tips! Mostly - swing smooth and easy, short backswing and finish the swing!
    My main thoughts over the ball today were “open and close” - being aware of the clubface…worked a treat!
    BTW - the rules changed in 2019 so that you can ground your club in a hazard or penalty area. You just can’t move the ball! 😎

    Hi Jimmy, Another good video, I took your advice to stay on track, so instead of
    going to the range, I went to a railroad yard near me. I was told #1, I can’t stand on the
    railroad tracks, #2, I cannot hit golf balls in the railroad yard, so I took what I learned
    and went to the range and was hitting the ball great, staying on track works.
    Thank you, Ron

    Thanks for the Ride 🎉 Jimmy! I played today so many factors like leaves lol greens are so small where I play. Wish they were as large as there they are very challenging with rough all around. Oh yeah old people that have no golf edicate. Wish you could see some of things that interrupt my game. Chow.

    You are allowed to ground your club in a hazard. It's only a bunker where that is not allowed.

    JIMMMMMYYY! Love the videos brother. Your videos have helped my short iron game tremendously. Still struggling with anything longer than 7. Can you please do a video focusing on just long irons? I try the exact same swing as my p-7, my 5 and 6 are consistent BUT yardage is the same OR less than my 7. My 3 and 4 are absolute sh**! I may get 2 out of 10 solid shots. Thank you in advance if you see this!

    The best deal on Golf Alignment Sticks are driveway markers from any hardware store or Walmart. You'll save $10-$15 on the two.
    BTW, Thanks Jimmy, been watching a few episodes recently, a couple basic things you've shown resonated with me, got me focusing on slow tempo and jumping in the hot tub, I've shot two consecutive 82's on what many people would consider difficult courses, with the same ball. 👍

    Enjoyed the video as always. But I do not agree with damaging your club. This is not the pro tour and no one is paying the average weekend golfer to do so. Put the ball on the grass and hit from there. No one will care either way. If I’m paying for my clubs then they will never be swung over concrete.

    • @tedzink4574
      @tedzink4574 7 днів тому

      Yeah, usually anything man made is free relief, including concrete drainage ditches.
      One club, no closer to the hole. Seeing it marked red was odd.

    One thing I’ve never understood. If your amateur shy wouldn’t you chip it and learn how to score. I don’t get it. You don’t get paid and your scores don’t mean shit to anyone including yourself. So absolutely do the crazy shots or the ones your panic from that’s how you learn.

    I don't think sticks make much sense to me. Nobody swings in a straight line, it's always a big Arc. Even your swing is a Big Arc so whatever you're trying to teach with straight sticks doesn't make sense.

    • @tedzink4574
      @tedzink4574 7 днів тому

      The lesson is that the arc stays inside the straight lines.
      The straight lines also help with alignment of your feet and clubface to the target.

      Do what?! It doesn't make sense to you? His swing is so simple even a smart person can make sense of it. But you're right saying nobody swings in a straight line, and that's a bright thought...DUH! So for whatever you think he's trying to teach, he's straight-sticking to a good method that works and he proves it. I'm a very smart person and even to me it makes lots of sense. Heck! I can even tell what's 2 + 2! What's in your wallet? 🤪
