The administration building at the beginning of your video used to be R. E. Lee Institute. I went to that high school in the late 1970's. Thomaston was a thriving textile community until NAFTA. After that, the majority of the mills closed down and moved out of the country. Unfortunately, you didn't go anywhere near the nicer neighborhoods or the "mill villages" but it is understandable since you weren't familiar with the layout of the city limits.

Thank you for sharing that information. Other than riding through to go to Atlanta or Stockbridge we didn't have much idea of the area. We really would like to visit and cover it more completely.
