- Here is a video I made of me looking for treasure in a freshwater river. It was shot over the course of several trips, but at the same site. I find both historic and modern artifacts.

Nothing new to add Beau, just want to say I really enjoy your videos. Injuries won't allow me to walk for the next few months, and your videos make me feel like I'm out and about vicariously. Many thanks man.
lead - anchors - fishing poles -you were on a hot goose of fine tickets on this spin below the waves.
kewl vid - i liked it
you need your own show on the discovery channel I would honestly watch it I'm addicted
+Eric jones I second that eric

hold yer breath lol
ArielleDaraliah same
Thanks Beau for another fantastic video. Always look forward to them.
Those iron ferry tips are quite nice and would make an excellent display. That's the nice thing about rivers because any more so much of the land has been hunted at some point but the water is a sort of last frontier for the metal detectorist. A point made clear by many of the finds in your videos! Best Wishes and Happy Hunting Beau!
Thanks for taking us on another adventure..Big thumbs up..
I love videos like this where you are diving and finding stuff !! Make more of these please!
So good to hear from you all! It looks like you had a wonderful holiday tho I'm sure there were fond memories of Dan along the way. Thank you for this update. I feel as tho I'm hearing from an old friend. ❤️
I love the scuba videos when your underwater. They are always so interesting and cool
Another great video! Love em! Thanks!
At 5:10. that's a military 2-sided flare. Smoke on one end, flare for night on the other. I used them in the Air Force. The bumpy end was for night.. Remembered that by 'Bumps at night'
This is amazing. I LOVE THIS. Please keep making these!
I have to say , your videos are fantastic!
I live on a river.. you have inspired me to do my first Treasure hunt this spring!
Great Video! You didn't talk and waste my data. Keep posting your adventures and finds.
Love the video Beau! You always bring something interesting to the old UA-cam. Even if there were no "treasure" finds, it always amazes me what ends up in the water. Good Luck out there and be careful to not freeze!
You make entertaining and informative videos, keep it up. They help me make through the winter here in Wisconsin.....
this is proof that dirty water inland divers can truely find treasures, even if the treasure is just the fun of doing what you love and collecting trinkets. good luck, gods speed and keep on diving.
Something new every time; as always, thanks’ for taking the time to make this video! And I support this site. ~M~
That's a really nice fishing rod..i know someone was pissed to lose that i know i would be
Great video lots of cool stuff
Beau you are the best on the market. . . . . you set the all the standards bro
hope this message finds you in many blessings
See thats what i would be looking for. Old fishing stuff and lead sinkers stuff like that. Thats better gold to me than a ring! Ty for fo vids. Do some more for us! Some of those anchors are worth prolly 5 bucks each on craigslist for ya! Maybe even 10 bucks
the rod and that lure on the rod is amazing gear, and some of the lures is really gr8 you shoud've picked them up!
Alright glad to hear!
The fishing rig is a Ambassadeur made by Abu Garcia in Sweden, i think the model is 7000i, incredible quality on the Ambassadeur rolls, my oldest one is about 40 years old and has been used by 3 generations of my family - Never changed a part, just cleaning and greasing it from time to time.
Nice vid Beau! Everyone has said everything else. GL & HH
The thing you were wondering about is a mk-24 signal flare. They go in military survival kits. Smoke on one end night flare on other. I recognized it because I use to teach survival in the military.
Hi Beau. Always really interesting videos you post on youtube. Sometimes you show the finds of the day at the end of your videos, i missed it on this one...;-) Great Work by the way..
You should really do this more often! I love these types of videos!
fun to watch. I'm thinking about getting back into scuba...and just thinking about doing this, looking in local streams/rivers/ponds to see whats been chucked into them. cool.
Thanks for reply I just acquired a river dredge I'm excited to try it out and see what kind of treasures I may find!
love the vids just rewatching them
at 5:13 you picked an aluminium cylinder with a red lookin lever on it and didn't know what it was.. It is a Mark 124 Smoke/Flare used by US military pilots and some ground forces to signal for help or extraction.. Probably someone stole it from work and fired it off to impress his buddies or kids..
Hey guys
Very cool video Beau. It reminds me of DigginRings videos. GL&HH
wow, you killed it on the the anchors! haha what was that? like 8? I am sure you could sell those for like $2 piece easy! heck, if I had the room, i would grab everything. lol. I am just like that though. one mans trash is another mans treasure. thanks for sharing!
im also like that (collects junk)
!!!!! If im correct thats an Abu Garcia Ambassador GT85 Multiplier reel, lovely what a find!!!
Nice video ..sweet fishing pole...man that looks like fun
this look's like a lot of fun.
The Item at 5:12 is a MK124 Signal Device, one end is for day (smoke) the other is for night (flame). I've been in the Coast Guard to long to not know what it is. Great Videos.
you found all the boat anchors in the world lol .
I'm just amazed at how can notice all these things awesome :)
It's always interesting to see whats in a river somewhere. You never really know what your going to see if why i like your videos because its less predictable than on ground. {coughpulltabcough}
Boat anchors make such great decor! But considering you have a pyramid of WW2 artillery shells in your house a mesley boat anchor doesnt compare lol keep it up bud!
That dumbbell was used as a boat anchor as well. I'm used those and plates before haha
There are a lot of boat anchors......... I love these videos.
freediving stuff are awsome. Cool.
At 5:12, Thats a MK 124 Day/Night Flare. Used by the Navy and Coast Guard. Each end of the flare produces a different effect. Day end produces orange smoke and the night end produces a red flame. The day end looks it was activated but I cant tell about the night end because the rubber cap is still on. It is no more dangerous then the road flares you can keep in the trunk of your car. Hope it helps!
I really love these videos Beau. They've only been getting better since you found the hoard of coins. I remember, I watched that video over and over the day you uploaded it. You oughta be careful out there - or should I say DOWN there LOL. One of those ropes could lead to a body.
I wouldn't doubt it.
wow saan kayang rver to...hehe..bonga..sarap sisidan at pag ahon my gnyan na agad.bongga!
WOW At the stuff you find
EARTH ANGEL. THAT'S QUITE A NICE ARRAY OF BOAT ANCHORS THAT YOU FOUND! !! DID YOU GET TO TAKING ALL OF THEM HOME WITH UOU? NICE BEGINNINGS FOR DECOR FOR A MAN CAVE!! GREAT NAUTICAL WINDOW DRESSING AND NICE INTERESTING VIDEO. THANK YOU
Enjoy watching your videos , also went to lowes and got myself a trenching shovel ! It is so much better ! Thanks for the info
Great video bro:) thanks for sharing...that boat trailer looks like someone might be missing it.lol
Great video, Beau!!
you know what would look amazing?? I had this crazy idea while you were holding the fishing rod and that largemouth bass swam in front of you at 4:30....You should go scuba diving one day, and take one of those poles you found underwater and set it up with some sort of appropriate lure, and fish for some of those bass while you're underwater scuba diving, and film it. How insane would that be to watch yourself catch a fish while you're underwater in the fish's domain and home turf? Anybody can catch a bass from shore or a boat, but it takes a real badass to catch one on a rod while you're underwater. I think that would make for an amazing video and some really unique footage that would probably get shared all over Facebook and every other website just for the shear originality of it.
***** niiiiice. Might be tough to get good footage of it...but i have faith in you, you always have quality videos.
Bbfishman that looked more like a sgeephead
thats was a great adventure, even with no finds.
You need to start a "Beau's boat anchors store"!!
this looks so fun to do!!!
I wish you lived near me! I had a fish yank my pole into the lake. I swam after it but was too slow. I also dropped my smart phone on the same area! Haha.
Nice rod you found there! Looks like it's in good condition to be used :D
lots of lead, copper, anchors and wow..on the fishing pole
the''weight for lifting'' you found could be an anchor and so could the bricks iv used both of them before as an anchor
Where I live there is a old bridge that broke apart and just the pillars stand and across the bridge and up a little ways is a ghost town. So when I was little I would go looking around and find screws and stuff. Kinda freaky but it's awesome stuff you find.
love watching your under videos nice finds
Ahh hahaha. Great vid love the dog.
Very interesting videos, some of the waterways are similar to where I fish on the Rea brook a tributary of the river Severn in and around Shrewsbury UK. I would have said hello when I was over in Maryland had I seen your stuff. All the best and thanks for sharing.
You could start your very own anchor selling enterprise!
You got me hooked. I could get into this.
Some great finds I got lucky I found iPhone 5 fully working in the freshwater !!!
I know your a professional and I know you know what your doing. I just had an idea. What if you fanned area's that collected a lot of debris? Do you think you would find treasures under all that trash ?? Happy diving and HH !!
Great stuff. good finds.
I would of took the 2 folding anchors for sure........Nice video i really enjoyed it =)
you find lots of very cool stuff in those rivers :)
How many fishing poles have you found while scuba hunting? You should post a video on that topic because I'm sure many of the fisherman/treasure hunters would enjoy that. Awesome video as always.
Being a country boy, that water look real clean to me compared to what I swam in when I was a kid" :)
Nice adventure Beau...
You could start a Boat Anchor bidness😁! Stack them close to each other, put a rope through some, tie to your bumper, and drag them out a few at a time. “Aquachigger’s Boat Anchors and Fishing Lures. (Ask about our metal detecting adventures.)” You could be a Thousandaire. You’re welcome. I’ll pat myself on the back. 👍. Love your videos.
You could've pulled all of those anchors up to the top and made some kind of boat anchor memorial! (I joke)... But I'd go back for that Muskie rig, what the hell, something for the effort. Damn that looks like fun! I like your detector videos. I'm nowhere near where anything could be pulled up,(without being considered an historical artifact and be given to whatever historical institution had jurisdiction.) Here in Portland Oregon, history is just too close to the present day, unless the Indian tribes own it... I guess I'll just keep enjoying the videos and dreaming of tripping over huge chunks of precious goodies. Thanks for the videos!
Cats
Cool :-) you can go into the boat anchor business. Nice Ambassador rod and reel.
Thanks for sharing .
Beau you could open a museum of boat anchors lol.
nice founds , I like that kind of video's where you find random stuff
Could 2.13 be a grappling hook? Boat anchors will sell in your next garage sale, too. hehe As always, a nice hunt. Beware of smiling dogs amigo.
I just got lost in your videos for over an hour. Subscribed. With that I have a few questions.
1) Ever find a dead body?
2) What is your most favorite find of all time
3) Have you crossed paths with any dangerous animals other than that snapper?
3. Yes. Please share!
That dog @ the end :D :3
Mate, you should grab all those boat anchors and sell them on e-bay. You can make a few coins and clean environment. two birds on one shot.
5:10 That could be a flashbang, often used by SWAT teams and militairy to clear out buildings easier. At least, it makes me think about that. If it is, it still is active. I would go to the local Police and ask them to be sure. Do NOT transport unless in a ammobox. A flashbang does what the name says, when it goes boom it will make a bright blinding light. It is pretty much a explosive. So please be carefull and get the Police to see what it is. If it is indeed a flashbang, ask them to take it with them so they can dispose of it the right way. But again, not sure.
Great vid again, thanks!
always love ya vids ty for sharing
Nice video!
Greets from The Netherlands
If you ever want someone to hunt with ya, im willing....lol im retired and hunt daily now, love your vids!
wew....that was...AweSome!
Collect all the anchors..youll have a ton of steel in no time ;) great vids 👍
Fun video. keep 'em coming.
Hi Beau, nice video, nice array of items , nice folding anchor...at 1:42 a rock looks like a sleeping mans head? (to me anyway)....cheers, g.:)
just before 703 on the video I seen a ring sticking out of the mud. it looked gold. crazy
Nice video Beau, I know it's almost impossible to take everything you find you would have to have a whole crew working to do that, and I don't think it's any different than someone swinging a detector on land and cherry picking a site most all of us do that from time to time. I like the two Danforth anchors you showed on film they are what is used her in Michigan due to mostly sandy bottoms. Thanks for sharing Beau. Riverat2013 and I, will be heading south to do some detecting and to get out of the frozen north the first part of February. Best to you on your next adventure.
Outstanding!!!
That ????: That was a military MK-124 Day/night flare for survival
Seems like such a fun hobby.
5:12 is a flare/strobe light we have them in the military. Not sure if anyone commented about it. Pretty sure thats what it is
You should call this the "Boat Anchor Video". Were these all relatively near one another? Love your underwater vids. Heck, I love ALL your vids. Thanks for posting. Lots of vicarious enjoyment for a decrepit old man.
Like it. Thanks for sharing. .
Very interesting, what lies beneth the surface. That place is an ancor trap, it seems. Till next time, Beau.
