- Hi everyone! This video was taken at Disneyland in California in mid October 2022. Here, I encountered the famous Viral Evil Queen, but this time she was playing Maleficent. She meets up with the Evil Queen and Princess Aurora (Sleeping Beauty), while Rapunzel hides behind the wishing well to avoid being seen by them. I also talk to Maleficent and Sleeping Beauty and it was INCREDIBLE!

I don't think Viral Queen is the best Maleficent, but I do think she's the most entertaining Maleficent. There's another that just has the look and voice down perfectly. She normally does monologues and doesn't banter nearly as much, but she just is Maleficent.

Why are the meet and greets so much better at Disneyland than at Disneyworld?
I agree, Disneyland’s meet and greets are definitely better. Most Disneyland characters have always usually roamed around the lands they belong to without having posted scheduled appearances or designated meeting spots. It’s been done that way since 1955. (Some do have scheduled spots, but it’s not as common). At Disney World, meet and greets are more scheduled there and characters don’t roam. It could be that way because it’s bigger and more touristy there, so they need to post their schedules and exact meeting spots so people can find characters while on their trips.
At Disneyland They send them out to walk around and interact with the crowd for a while where as at Disney world they walk straight to their meet and greet spot and then stand in one spot while you come up to them and stand in a long line. It feels rushed because of the line and the photographers and characters go right into “shall we take photo / portrait etc..” unless you ask them something.
Is it because Disneyland is closer to Hollywood? So more actresses and actors?
