Just an FYI (and hopefully for Rosie's benefit as well) there is a difference between a milk allergy and lactose intolerance. A milk allergy has to do with the protein found in milk, while lactose intolerance is the sugar found in milk. As far as I can tell, the York test tested for a milk allergy, not for lactose intolerance, so Rosie could still be lactose intolerant.

Coming from someone who lives in Cornwall, people on holiday down here are the WORST.... we can’t get anywhere, everywhere gets littered and the emergency services have to deal with people not respect the sea/coastline and drinking too much!
Try Newquay the next time! I'm from Germany and spent a week there last year, staying at the Legacy Hotel Victoria. They also had a small Spa. In Newquay are enough stores to do some "shopping" and it's a great starting point for roadtrips to sights like Land's End, Bedruthan Steps (go there for sunsets), St. Nectan's Glen, Tintagel Castle,.. They also offer surf-workshops and have nice views on cliffs and water. It was one of my favorite holidays!

come to falmouth in cornwall! there’s loads to do because there’s an arts uni here ;) also yes the locals are rude, we were gonna have a rooftop bar on the top of our local spoons but the locals complained and it got cancelled TWICE. plus nobody can drive. or go to gwel an mor it’s a lovely holiday site with cabins that are allowed dogs and i stayed in a cabin there once that someone from the cast of poldark had stayed in. goals. also u can go on wildlife walks there and do falconry and see badgers at night.
I instantly was worried for Willma over the sausage in the garden. Our friend had a dog nicest sweetest dog. Asshat people with no soul threw poisoned meat over the fence and killed their dog. They had it on camera and are trying to track them down. Only posting this just as a dont let Wilma eat any unknown meat just in case. It was devastating.
As for the York test, not sure if you know this, but it can’t test for intolerance if you don’t currently have that food in your system.. so if you never eat dairy, and then take the test, dairy wouldn’t show up because its not in your system at all and can’t tell you if you’re allergic/sensitive to it. Dairy actually has to be in your system to show up as reactive on the test. I have had multiple digestive issues and have taken many of those tests and so maybe have Rosie eat dairy for a week and then re-take the test in order to know for sure.
I am really anxious over that sausage in the garden being poisened to harm your dog (people are crazy). One of the first episodes of a detective series I saw when I was a kid had the same plot, only accidentally the dog's owner ate it. I was so scared of that story I will never forget it :')
Okay so my girlfriend and I were taking care of her parent's garden while they were on holiday. Third day of watering the plants, I nearly stepped on something that turned out to be a grilled chicken wing. Not chewed on. In the middle of their garden. The only garden next to theirs is owned by a 90-somewhat old lady that surely doesn't barbecue anymore.
I recommend you go to Falmouth next time, it's really cute and quite young compared to the rest of Cornwall due to the university. Also, only 20min to the shops in Truro lol

Lactose intolerance is not a milk allergy. It is the absence of an enzyme which would not show up on a skin antigen screening test for allergies.
