first shot perfect 10
You want more pressure than that?
I want to see lars anderson on this show.
@@itztimmy9900 hahahaha he isn't as good as this dude's, he doesn't even have the strength to do so and e mostly does trick shooting
having to par ten on the last shot
Oh, you want to play? BAM!
Lol he lost tho
Steve looks like he's always smiling.
Lester Walit lol
He have a babyface
It’s the overbite
Steve's perfect first shot was so beautiful.. Kim was not in his best condition.. but finally Kim won the game..
That perfect first shot from Steve.... :O
that was a thing of beauty.
It was the confidence for me. He looked like he knew it was gonna be perfect. Even the the second shot looked like he didn't want to go through the hassle of destroying the first arrow.
Consistency is key. That Korean dude nailed it.
So close to the center that it fell into the event horizon
@SinisterMinister Never seen a sentence that talked about itself before
@@RealShojin LOL
I don't get the joke
And yes I know what an event horizon is
Didnt know that Sheldon Cooper is a Pro Archer
I'm glad it wasn't just me. Also, archery is all about physics so ......... lol.
Shijlden Kuipers
hhahhahahhaha I was going to say it
Nano nano
bazinga
Steve's aim is turning bad because his coach is always fist bumping him
Lol as a sport pistol shooter I can assure you this actualy may be true if they do it with "manly" attitude.
Of course stress and pressure were the means to Steve's end, so to speak, but you never know what other things fall apart xD
i thought they're gonna shoot each other . Dissapointed
xD
PoorGamer lol
there is a bowsport where you can shoot each other. lets make it olympic!
@@holyn8 I actually played that before. Its was a team deathmatch and everyone was wearing mask and the arrows at like foam on the tip. but my god u can still get hurt a lot xD i somehow shot and knock someones mask off so hard with it too
@@availingcoder4092 sounds fun!
i love the fact that sjef van den berg is also doing the audio! I get trained by his dad! it's so nice to hear his voice on this match seeing that wijler and he are friends!

I watch and like.
You read this.
Thanks.
Ahahah the cicle of life
6:10 With that massive camera standing between them I'd expect the official youtube channel of world archery to have better quality
that's just the len's for zooming in. also there's no light so the quality of those sports cameras are at its potential.
Steve won the battle, but Kim won the war.
3:41 slow capillary refill on his lower lip there
Nice catch
2:00 it couldn't be more accurate. Hats off!
0.13 cm is 1,3 mm the commentator said 13 mm which would be 1,3 cm
Archery continues to fascinate me. Great performances here.
That perfect 10 :O
4:07 demon walks by your computer to view the show
My name is Kim. Thanks for coming.
3:28 ".13 cm" "13 mm" wow quick maths
no
1.3 mm
Seriously, the mid-roll adds make this hard to watch. Got one between the release and hitting the target. Is this necessary?

Koreans are the best archers in the world
If a Korean arrives with a bow, just give him/her the medal.
Considering Brady Elison from USA is no. 1 in ranking, your plan is not very good.
I did not know bart_ow was playing archery 11:40
Great match, it's a shame they had to meet in the quarterfinals.
Very competitive and interesting match
That first shot is gnarly
Wait how did this last 13 minutes?? I felt like it was less than 5.... Just me?
Very interesting and intense 👍
I didn't know Headhunterz was an archer
4:08 ERROR ERROR Korea must win restart the Matrix!
lol
8:42 slow mo
Kon niet beter. Echt super. Geeft mij alleen meer zin een boog te kopen en te oefenen
man when i read "Kim Woojin" i thought it was the one from StrayKids lmao
Nice to see a lack of "This ain't real archery... trick bows blah blah" comments. Perhaps those who think this isn't 'real' archery should try to consistently hit a 12cm circle at 70m.
This isn’t real archery
But that’s just the point isn’t it. Take away all the fancy gadgets and shoot with a regular longbow. If you can consistently hit then I would be impressed.
@@DeadRabbit86 Actually that's not the point. This is modern archery, it doesn't become more 'real' by removing anything.
slow mo on glasses, not on shooting..
The first shot from Steve tho! Beautiful!
Bro what is that first shot?? Homie has hax
the white guy looks like a cartoon hahahaha
steve lost his form, thats why he shot the way he did. easy to spot in the third set. anchor is completely different from the 1st set and what is up with the massive swing of the bow? gave up?
Had me on the edge of my seat
Hawkeye & Green Arrow would be disappointed.
Hawkeye and Green Arrow are disappointing for Legolas
I like how both my role models are named Kim Woojin.
1:55
they are not even blinking
2:02 WHAT IN THE ACTUAL FUCK!? Are you telling me this guy just hit a 10 and it landed perfectly centered in the middle!? speechless
Okay now I want to become Legolas all over again ❤️❤️❤️🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
The worlds most intense game of darts 🎯
Great Steve
2:18
Why is this in my recommendations? You think I'm some kind of hawkeye or merida or somethin?
hahahahahah me too
that is unbelievable! that's some damn good shooting!
I understand this is competition. But all the same I feel like all the extra stuff, like the sight, stabilizers etc, takes away from just bare bones archery. Not trying to sound like a douche but I feel like just using the bow and arrows with no accessories would demonstrate true skill. I’m sure these guys would have no problem with it, but I’d like to see how such a competition would play out.
jjbyrd04 I know what u mean , but it’s just that these things gets added overtime all with positive reactions from the archers themselves. But without top quality gear even the guys in the final would really struggle , but I truly do understand what u mean and I personally would love to just see a good quality bow and arrow and nothing else.
Do you also wish that tennis players would use wooden racquets, or that rifle shooters would use muskets?
It's almost like they have bare bones archery category for a reason
@@jjbyrd04 I've never done archery or even touched a bow in my life, try again.
jjbyrd04 damn you went salty real fast
Im just here for the faces they make lol
steve no. 1 in the world

holy fuck he used his ultimate
How the hell did I turn up here?
I didnt even know bows had sights!!
Gotta respect that Asian consistency

The lucksman
The wind must help alot
i thought it was crusader archer versus silla bowman
much disappointment
I never knew Sheldon is an archery athlete
Is one of the commentator Sjef Van Den Berg?
What do the rods on the bows mean? And why do they wait till that clip snaps to release the arrow??
Rods are for weight and balance, they wait for the clipper so the rope is pulled with the same strenght everytime. Accuracy
im new here what are the poles sticking off of their bows mics?
that first shot from Steve lool
Saracen archers: in order to qualify you need to shoot 3 arrows in 1.5 seconds modern archery: Comes with a fucking tripod and scope
8:41
4:10 thanos snapped his finger
those bows must cost 10 grand. anyone know for sure what they cost?
Cost of riser..between 800 to 900. Cost of limbs..same. Sight..300 to 400. Stabilizers..same. String..50 to 75.00. Rest 75.00 to 100.00. Arrows..800.00+.
definitely expensive! and they look like it lol I wouldn't have thought the arrows would be so much too!
The artows are ridiculous. Between 400 to 450 for the x10 shafts. About 250 per dz. for points. Nocks..vanes and pins cover the rest of the money easily. It use to be a cheap hobby and still is unless you want to compete with the best..lol.
a british longbow can do the job much better
@@dracoblood3786 no it can't... not with this precision. Stop saying things like this, you are just embarassing yourself.
they should include horse archery
Thats a mighty long stabelizer son
your aim is true
Good Battle
Who’re the commentators here?
What does the -0.13 mean in the chart reading? does anyone know?
steve wijer se parece a sheldon de la teoria del big bang
Hahaha xD
Can someone tell me what that liitle white thing at the leading end of the arrow is. I noticed they wait until it moves to shoot
its called a clicker. it is placed there so that they know they are pulling the same distance every time. when it moves, that means they are at their full draw, so they can be more consistent each time they shoot.
@@arischweitzer3676makes sense. Thanks for the info
Oddly satisfying
truth is the Dutch kid had two shots to win it and missed both..at this level you can't get away with not finishing off your opponent.
Where's the Elven archer?? It should be there! Oh fuck, i forgot, it's fiction. Damn!
This game has the most useless referee

i think its about the position of the feet you dont want to step over a line or something
you’re not in archery and it shows 😂
1. calling it a ‘game’
2. clearly dont know the role of a referee by saying its useless.

Am I the only one thinks he look like Sheldon 😅😅😅
Wijler start fast, but faded in the end....
I take my initial statement back.
Wijler was right there 'til the end, but on this day Kim was just a little more consistent.
Kim has an even stance, not a closed one.
I have a question......... when they shoot why do they let their bows fall down???
No idea bro
Theyre not gripping the bow. They wear a sling to catch the bow when it falls. This is done to increase their accuracy as gripping the bow does have a drawback in getting a shot in
You could tell he wasn't satisfied with the last arrows angle
Kim Woojin look like ghost aydan
Does anyone know what the little flap at the tip of the arrow does? It moves right before they release the arrow
Helps stabilise the arrow on the riser until the archer shoots and drops out of the way when the bow is fully drawn. Called a clicker.
I know this is a late reply but the clicker is used for consistency mainly, never really to keep the arrow fastened to the rest/riser.
Recurve? Explain/
they should increse the range of targets
They should also increase the number of arrows shot
Where is the rods
I know he is an olympic archer and I really know nothing about the sport, but isn't not smart to rest the string on his chin like he's doing at 2:33? I mean at that length and that level of competition I would assume even the little bit of inconsistency would not be good.
he might use it as a consistent draw point, idk tho
he does that to have a consistent draw point
They need to put regulations on these tactical assault bows. I feel very unsafe..........
Please..i have to know. What is a tactical assault bow?
@@jerrytrame3894 i suppose one of those bows they are using ? they look all tactical with aiming stuff and many accessories and stick coming out of it, it looks so,,,,lethal
