In at least 4 or 5 videos I've seen him playing about 3 different instruments but I know he said he is playing trumpet at Alabama State. Xavier is playing trombone in this video and at Dega.

Surprised at how much SU influence I'm seeing from the Doll counts to "He Loves Me"... I know a lot of bands play the same songs but this high school band did that and that singer had such a beautiful voice!

This cannot be high school bands they are both so good it's mindblowing. I was a loser in high school compared to these kids. They are so amazing.
I love JD's arrangements and how most of the brass don't blow their cheeks out.
