That said, I currently only a 65 inch and would get a 75 inch for my next TV, so for me it isn't an issue. But Sony still be smoking something.

Studios have already bought a LOT of Sony's mastering monitor HX3110 (sold out), which is capable of the same 4k nits brightness. This means going forward a lot of movies will be mastered with this standard. The Bravia 9 is made to be a consumer version of that reference quality, and the only TV that can reproduce those content faithfully. 2000nit OLEDs will be tone mapping and clipping the content, losing gradation and luminance detail.
@@divertiti That doesn't matter. There isn't even much content to use HDR with 4000 Nits. People watch normal Television or Streaming most of the time. The Bravia 9 is incapable to display black level without blooming unlike the Mastering Monitor which uses Dual LCD. Oled have other advantages too. Like the better viewing angle (very important when you have a whole family who watches) and much better response time for gaming and sports.

The moment you actually SHOWED the reflection, you have mentioned “anti reflection” 😂😂😂 Brian, you should watch it once again!
It's a glossy screen which means it will always have some reflection, the amount on this TV is really low for a glossy display
Even off angle performance is really bad compared other flagship OLED tvs, but he claims otherwise.
Still like the picture on their OLEDs
