If you put the cut die face down on craft foam then use the bristle roller on the die cut, the intricate pieces come right out.😊

I usually have good luck getting alot of the die cut pieces out with the metal roller when the paper is still in the die. The paper doesn't bend. It doesn't get all the pieces out if there are really small pieces-but it helps.

Mary, how about die cutting this out of a piece of acetate, or packing plastic and then using it as a stencil? You’d get the “negative” print, for a little something different.

Acrylic paper has been treated to keep the moisture on the surface of the paper and watercolor paper absorbs water. Hope this makes sense.

Edge painter and scrubber.
Once you are finished using it for the day, soaf the scrubbing part in some bleach water for at least 15 minutes then rinse and allow to dry. As Mary stated, let them dry and not keep them moist. There is no advantage to keeping them moist.

I used a bad cricut mat to die cut. I didn't know the plates included with die cutter mar up so bad.

Watercolor paper, absorbs water, acrylic paper is a plastic paper, and the water sits on top

What is a Cover plate.?
A die that cuts either 4.25x5.5 panels. Essentially the die creates a full card front. Sometimes they are a little smaller.
Thanks for asking, I was going to,but you did it for me. Now I am wondering if they will be called cover plates or just dies. Guess I will have to ask Mary. 😆
@@carlamooney622 They are dies. They tend to be in card sizes, but I also love coverplate dies that are a bit smaller than full card size.
