  • I had my right hip replaced a few weeks ago...which is why i haven't made any videos in a while.
The hospital gave me all sorts of tools to use like a Sock Putter-Onner. That was my favorite!! But they didn't give me a Leg-Lifter...which apparently is pretty standard equipment following joint surgeries. So I had to come up with my own. I made one out of a tube scarf I'd been wearing. It worked really great and I used it for roughly 2 weeks total.
I wrote 2 posts about my experience if you're interested. The first one is about he amazing modern medicine has become and the 2nd is pretty much everything Imused during my (still ongoing) recovery. I wrote these primarily because my brother had the same hip replaced as me a few weeks later...he's a few years younger which explains how he could survive with a crummy old hip several more weeks than me :-)

Part 2 has tons of Amazon affiliate links because pretty much everything I buy comes from Amazon...and I was desperate to find something that helped with pain because I stopped my pain meds really early (they made me feel awful.) So...warning...I'm an Amazon Affiliate and using my links will reward my efforts with some small commissions if anyone purchases anything!
