I cannot thank you enough for your time and energy and attention to detail...you are now my teacher outside of my tarot class...there are NO classes for the thoth deck at all here where I live and I've been trying to learn the thoth method since like 2013 or 2014! ahhh! lol Thank you sooo much!!!...just the fact that you have the RWS and Crowley together makes your videos #1 honestly
Thoth is one of my favorite decks, but the ‘Rider Waite’ would be the most basic of Tarot...Thoth has some differences I don’t see in other tarot’s often; especially in the order of the major Ancona/Trumps(this is the only tarot that calls em Trumps) This deck is one of the most important decks, if not the most ever if one is more in the ‘occult’ specific divination. With that tho, Spirit Science has the ‘Patch Tarot’ that helps read either or very easily and I’m highly recommending that one for any beginner:) Positive vibes towards your tarot journey💜
Wow. Yes. These videos are just what I need. I ‘know’ the meanings and the history, the esoterica. But I don’t necessarily know how to articulate it all in a reading, especially when it comes to people’s day to day questions.
Just came across your channel & Glad I did! Love this video! The Thoth is Also my Favorite deck to use! Just subscribed to your channel and I look forward to watching your other videos on the Thoth deck! Thanks for your contributions!
Hello! Great video! one small thing. If you associate The Emperor with "Natural Intelligence" then you are associating it with the Hebrew letter Tzaddi, which is associated with Natural Intelligence, but is on the 28th path, not the 15th path that runs from the 2nd to the 6th sephira. Crowley switched the two positions because he switched the letters, for a complicated reason he explains in the Book of Thoth. Anywho, I love this video and love that Thoth is getting more attention online!!
Found that very interesting. I looked at the Thoth deck once and didn't like it at all....looked too complicated, but you made that pretty easy to understand. Perhaps I will check it out further and even buy a deck.. Thanks a lot x
I'm getting my first Tarot deck tomorrow and am really excited to get into it, this is the first channel that stuck out to me, thanks for getting me started :)
As much as Crowley likely intended his tarot for divination, it was kind of a catalogue of his studies. I'm finding the book of Thoth to be a challenge, so this clarification here is helpful.
Nice way to see reversals, the two extremes of the upright meaning, the opposite meaning or not listeningto that energy. Or a debilitated energy, a beginning energy of the upright energy.
Hello, very interesting deck! I have only used the Rider-Waite-Smith deck. Is this compatible or completely different, please? Also I am loving this mat you are using? Are you willing to share where it may be found other than your studio 🤣🙏💫 Thank You, Pete 🙂
It bears mention that the Thoth deck, per use of spreads mentioned even in the accompanying booklet, does not make use of reversed positions.. Instead, the cards intentions are to be understood by their position in the spread and relation to surrounding cards
I didn't get it about The Fool card... so what do i tell the client? If it's in the normal position- take the new job position, if it's upside down- wait on it, don't just yet accept the position?...
Like the wisdom seeker trot major similar to rws and minors like Marseille style so tarot cards using Marseille method which involves numerology and elements
Yes, it's a Beautiful Deck! Yes it is a Deep deck filled with esoteric & occult symbolism! All the more Reason to use this deck! DON'T be Dissuaded just because you may just starting out! My Opinion is, it's the Best Most Accurate Deck Available! So Why Not Start with the Best!
@@InnerLightTemple with the keywords on many of the cards, I feel that frees up learners to not feel like they need to "memorize." I detest the idea that tarot cards have meanings to memorize. Better to learn to understand the cards and various methods to interpret than to memorize... there is so much to reading the cards behind memorized card meanings as well!!
@@TarotOracleOriginal Thank you! I used only Rider Waite for 5 years, and now I've become a bit obsessed with buying more decks. Your videos are great. I recommend them to anyone who is new reader! Thanks for your work!
In the creation of the Rider-Waite tarot deck the La Papesse card, so confusing to non-Catholics, was changed into The High Priestess sitting between the pillars of Boaz and Jachin (which has a particular meaning to Freemasonry)
@@TarotOracleOriginal thanks! It also said is was used in solomons temple. I'm going to check my new book on the 3 books of Solomon I happened to get this week and see if It has something on it in there too!

For sure the best most knowledgeable tarot info coming from this channel.
just started learning Tarot reading and Thoth is my first deck. really appreciate your great video with simple yet deep, clear explanation!

Thanks TarotOracle!

Thank you for this, you explain a complicated deck very clearly! I have already watched it 3 times and it has helped immensely in my studies of tarot.
One of the Best tutorials today! Timeless! Thank you. Peace & Protection.
Please, please, do do the rest of the Majors - I found this so informative. Thank you ❤️
Amazing teaching skills! Thank you❤
Wonderful ! I am in the process of exploring Thoth after being into Rider-Waite since the 1970's.
Very good explanation of the Fool card Thoth tarot. This reader is good! Excellent teacher

Thank you, teacher.
Thank you for this, I appreciate you 👌 other creators explain this on a different level then mine lol this I can understand 👍

Love how you explain things! Thank you
Great video! Thank you so much. Where can I find a borderless version of the Thoth deck?
Amazing! Thanks very much for doing it! Will surely dive on others!
Thank you! Loved it! So simplified 😍❤️👌👌👌
wow, love your teaching! Thank you

Although ofc, everyone has their way of doing things.
Thanks for such an informative video

Did you edge these cards yourself? Love the borderless aspect
Yes
My friend 💜 just gave me the small version
Yay! You’ll fall in love
Awesome! Nice Friend!
Great vid bro!!!
The Thoth Emperor is placed on path 28, joining Netzach to Yesod; not path 15 where the Thoth Star is placed. ''Tzaddi is not the Star''
So great
I never felt drawn to Thoth stuck to rws system but you explain it so well will you be doing any videos on reading pip card decks ?

Where did you get a deck that's been cut without the border? So beautiful
I cut it myself, with scissors
Thank you for this very helpful video! Where did you get the borderless Thoth deck? I love it!
TO just excellent , thanks
why does the rider deck cover up the boots of hermes on magus? i'm assuming the roses are important
TarotOracle, what is under/between The Fool's legs? Looks like morning glory flowers? And why?
My fave deck also...
did you trim your thoth deck yourself? it looks amazing
Yep, with scissors. thanks!
Love Thoth!
Very usefull, thanks :)
Hi.... thanks for the great Videos. What edition of Thoth is that? I didn’t think a borderless card existed?
Green box edition, I trimmed it myself
Yikes.... wow
Hi! does anybody know where is the explanation for the Ace of cups?? I find it strange that it's not in any part of the series.
Where did you find your deck? I love how your deck is borderless.
I trimmed it myself
TarotOracle amazing! I wouldn’t be able
to cut a straight line. 🤦🏻♀️
Is the book you’re showing come with the Thoth deck on Amazon?
No it's separate
As far as I know Aleister Crowley didn’t endorse or use reversed cards. So, shall we?
Dont you have a joint video with simon from hermits cave?
Not yet, but I'd love to do a collab with him!
Where can I get a thoth tarot that has the same design as the one your using in these videos?
I bought the jumbo Thoth, and then trimmed it with scissors
Where did you get that Thoth Deck? I've only been able to find it with the borders.
I trimmed the borders myself
thanks a lot
Have you talked about The Wild Unknown Tarot deck?
Just got that deck! It looked really great! I just haven't had time to look at it much :(

In the beginning, the girl with the cat for the fool. So pretty!
