That will be depending on the skills required in Australia, course you complete and other factors. It will be wise to get in touch with migration agent to discuss about it.

No, this is if you are applying for Temporary graudate visa. If yoiu already have student visa, you don't need to keep take IELTS test.

Thanks for the comment. No, it's only reduced for Temporary Graduate Visa.

Yes you can still take IELTS exam but you need to make sure that it is meeting the new requirements.

Probably yes as there are no changes announced for that yet by the universities.

Thanks for the comment. Interesting one as well. I was thinking the same. If the student says that i am genuinely coming to study the course and if i do get a pathway to apply to PR, then i will but if not, i will be happy to return back home. This is something to know about it. Not sure how it will be taken by the department since they acknowledge that students can have potential pathways to PR. TBH, i don't think anyone knows the answer yet.
@@overseasstudentsaustralia Thanks a lot for the reply! Yeah, I am also keeping an eye on everything, as I am currently preparing for my ielts test. Once I am done with ielts, I will be applying to both Australia and New Zealand.
Ohh correct me if I am wrong, I think New Zealand has also applied the similar policies to Australia right?
I had the same question. Because as per GTE we were required to inform them that we will return to our country after the course and the stay back period. But as per the GS requirements, what would be an appropriate response and how will it be received by the immigration authorities? Since it is a new policy, I doubt anyone will be able to give the exact answer… but some guidance would really help.

It is 2 years.
But if you study and complete your degree in a regional area, then you will be granted 1 year extension of TR.
Any area outside Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane metropolitan is a regional area.
Hi, as flagged in the migration strategy, it will be back to previous years numbers from the mid year. There was extention of two-year extension of post-study work rights announced last year but it will end mid year 2024. You can check the details here: www.education.gov.au/end-extended-poststudy-work-rights-international-graduates#:~:text=Resources-,End%20of%20extended%20post%2Dstudy%20work%20rights%20for%20international%20graduates,will%20no%20longer%20be%20available.
Also, students from India can get additional 1 year of Post Study work visa due to trade agreements.

Firstly Can Students with Medical Background can go for Bachelors of Cybersecurity after GST.
Secondly, As Bachelor of Cybersecurity Offered by RMIT isn't credited by ACS, would that Effect on the future pathways?
