Lord have mercy! Some tasty guitar playing. Mark is a master who started out with a lot of fan fare but he is so underrated. He can burn with the best and lay it down low with feeling and melody. Speed when needed, soul all the time and a knowledge and respect of the masters like Wes, Martino and Benson who paved the way.

I think playing with others is most important !!. Runs, and licks, and scales are ingredients like, onions, green peppers, broccoli, but without the meat it's not much ( melody n tempo).

I saw Mark play at the covered dish in Gainesville, FL with a trio in the 90s and was thrilled. Keeps getting better. Keep it up man! Really wonderful

Mr. Whitfield what gauged strings are you using? They sound somewhat heavy. is your Low E a 52 and the high a 12?
