Yes! Low water level is good too. To use much water is also wasted water!

Pretty sure he didn't mean that. Too low water level is never good - means the laundry doesn't get soaked enough to wash properly. But, even if the water level is good enough, it doesn't mean that the wash performance is any better. Wash performances are mainly affected by 4 things; Water level (obviously), tumbling speed, heating and wash duration. Let's say a certain machine's water level is perfect, but the rest of the things are not good at all. Just because 1 out of 4 is good, doesn't mean it's going to wash great. All of the conditions must be good enough for good wash performances. Hope this makes sense @Olxi

if you dont mind voiding your warranty you can lift the top off the machine and screw down the large plastic screw on the pressure switch over to the right of the machine , that will allow more water to enter the drum

I don't see any reason to do that. My washing machine takes water how much its need and I see a laundry soak. Less water equal less detergent with still high concentrate and ends effect for me is the same but get more economiclly.
