No SuperCab or Regular Cab option?? WTF Ford?
Low sales
Ford wanted to focus on what sells the most. There is potential for more options down the line. This generation is going to be running for a while.
Not having either regular cab or Supercab is unfortunate.
Spent too much time on the Raptor What fool will spend 56K for a Truck to go jump ditches or climb rocks???
Wealthy enthusiasts is the short answer. Ford wouldn't produce the Ranger Raptor here if they didn't think it would sell.
Thank you for not focusing on higher trims. We want reviews or info on trucks the working class can afford.
301a XLT models are the best sellers historically for the last generation. Ford knows this and thus will be the trim they will likely be producing the most of in the next generation as well.
No long box equals no thanks.
That 5ft box is nearly useless for me.
Chevy is the same with their new mid sizer.
Guess if I want a mid size 2nd truck I'll be looking at a Nissan or Toyota.
Focused on quality control Ford is only producing the configuration that sells the best. This is not to say that a long bed will not make a return. There were spy shots of a long box Ranger testing so it may happen next year or later in the run of this next generation.
@Richmond Ford Lincoln OH I know it's all about profits.
Had to order my 21 F150 extended cab.....cause there literally wasn't one to be found in Canada.
Got exactly what I wanted tho.
If a Ranger ever shows up in an extended cab 6ft ish box I'll look.
Till then if I get the bug I really don't mind the Nissan Frontier.....extended cab Pro4X looks pretty good.
Ford is smart. They released it two years ago outside the US to deal with reliability issues, just like the previous model that's why see few issues was with it when they released it here in the US,
Well, hope Ford has better luck securing parts to build it than they have had with F-150. Now they can't find door handles to finish my build. Giving Ford two more weeks to finish it. If not built then I am canceling my order.
Sorry to hear. Hope it works out for you!
Please be reliable. Ford leading all manufacturers in recalls last year is unacceptable.
Think about why that is? They have more 1st. gen models than any manufacturer. Therefore, they will have more recalls. All companies have recalls especially on 1st. gen models.
@@uowebfoot No. Not the case. Most of the recalls were not for the new cars. They were for previous years.
Ford's main focus right now is quality control. They have new team leaders in place to make sure quality control is a top priority. This is one reason why this new Ranger isn't coming right out of the gate with all of the options and configurations as the current generation.
I got my truck April 22 . I have great time, staff we nice 👍. I live 100 miles away
They have called email many times.
RIP tremor
Fingers cross the Tremor makes a return. The Raptor is not going to be mass produced. We need a trim that bridges that gap like the F-150 has.
Stop deleting my comments, I’m telling you the truth
No i'm getting that new tacoma
I'm a traditional Ford guy but this new Ranger looks cheap and old when compared to the new Chevy and Tacoma. This should have been a hybrid, like the F-150 PowerBoost.
Hybrid is in the pipeline. Ford wanted to introduce this new truck to market without straining their production line. Over the coming years expect more options to expand the Ranger lineup.
@@RichmondFordLincoln sounds like exciting news.
I got
Build it with a naturally asperated 3.3 Duratec and manual transmission, 2dr and I'll pick one up.
Highly doubtful that Ford will ditch the turbos before adopting hybrid and eventually complete electrification in this model.
When is the last date you can order for the 2023 models? Thank you
The 2023 Order Banks have closed for the Ranger. You will have to search through dealer stock to find the truck you want. We are constantly getting new stock in every day and if we don't currently have what you are looking for chances are we can find it and get it for you. We have a wide reach and can procure vehicles from dealers around the country.
No 6ft bed its a hard NO for me
I wonder if they'll be as scarce at dealerships as the current model.
The Ranger is not produced in high numbers compared to the F-Series or the Bronco, which shares the same assembly line. Don't expect Ford to make the Ranger in comparative numbers as the Tacoma. The F-Series outsells the competitors by quite a wide margin so the Ranger bridges the gap for those who need less of a truck than an F-150 but more capability than the Maverick. However, the big focus for those customers who want to get into a Ranger is to place an order. Orders will take priority over dealer stock.
So you still need a trailer to haul.
Only if your load exceeds the weight limit or physical volume of the bed. I own a current generation Ranger in the same 4 door 5 ft bed configuration and I moved a full size refrigerator last week!
Will you sell the raptor at MSRP?
