As a retired combat Marine I could wtite a book about this stuff. We should have never went into Iraq, Saddam was a local thug and a thorn in Iran's side. "The enemy of our enemy is our friend." In Afghanistan, we let Bin Laden escape, SF had him, but were told to back off. The retirement and disability checks I get for serving 20 years and the mental and physical damage i have suffered doesn't really make up for it. I live very well, but Marines i know personally never made it home and many that did , came home missing body parts. I fought in the first battle of Fallujah, let's just say the official report is not the real report.
